OOC: is it winter here?

Chance padded tierdly across the snow after being chased by a bear and loseing his older brother in the proses. All he wanted to do was look for his brother and find their pack. He found a box laying on its side near a human nest(house). The Wolf pup limped towards it winceing each time he leand on his injured paw. Before he enterd the box, the pup caught scent of blood, dogs, humans and a familiar scent he couldin't place his paw in. Chance ignored it and curled up in the box immediatly falling into a dreamless sleep.

Chance groggily woke up, turning his head to the side, he saw a redish Saberian Husky smiling down at him. At first he felt scared but then noticed that the red and white dog didin't show any sighn of attacking him. "uhm...hi?" he said uncertanly then blushed when his stomach decided to make itself known. Chance put a paw over his muzzel trying to hide his embarrasment and unsuccesfully doing so at that.
