Calm down! Ok yes what he did was bad, and he might have known that killing was bad. But what if his parents where fighting all the time? What if his dad or mom drank a lot? And became agressive? There are so many things in this stupid world that can harm this kid, and not just physical but mentaly. It is his falt that he killed those animals, because no one can make you do anything, it's your choice. But what if something was going on in that kids life that he was sad, angry, or scared of? No one can truly understand why he did what he did but we can't jump to think he did it to have fun or some other bad reson! We know what he did was bad, us here on this site are more mature. And because of that we need to give him a chance. We don't need to be bagging on him, he probly has enough people here he lives to bag on him. We need to at least try to imagin what he might have been going through. I'm not just saying this because he's seven, I'm saying this because I care about tho's animals that died, and the poor boy who killed them. I have no idea who this kid is but at least I have enough compassion to care. Don't you? What if that boy had been your best friend who was always there and never let you down? What would you have done? Hate him just because he made a mistake? Or would you try and help them, by becoming the bigger person and showing that no matter what you have a heart to help tho's in need. Please just give that poor guy a chance at forgivness, at least try it's all I'm asking of you....

Its sad because this kids going to suffer for the rest of his life probably because he made a mistake. I feel bad for the animals but I also agree we need to have compassion for this boy, like you I'm a Christian, and I believe that no one is beyond forgiveness. The Bible tells us that someone isn't resonsable for their sins until 12 years old, because they truely can't understand they've done something wrong. We can say we did know right from wrong at 7 but what if this kid wasn't taught the same as us? Like Emuku Girl said, the boy's parents could be fighting, he could have a disfunctional family, he might of never learned any better. We can't let our own lives cloud our judgement of someone else.

That is a good point, his parents probably had something to do with his behiavior. My mom always says 'kids are what they live' which makes a lot of sense if you think about that. I agree, new parents are defiently needed for this kid and he needs some punishment but we can't do a major one, afterall he is still minor and can't be punished extremely severly. He also needs to know for sure the punishment is for this. Something that might have to do with him doing this is bipolar, if he has it. I have a sister with that and she can have major fits of anger that can be triggered by the tiniest things.

I don't care how young you are. I don't care if you have "problems" up the wazoo. NOTHING constitues acting like that. Nothing. Plain and simple. It's wrong. And evil. And I hope that freaking SOMEONE gets charged with something. I don't care if they can't charge him since he's a "sweet innocent little child" (pfft), but they can sure as heck find a way to charge his sorry parents. Ugh.
And people wonder why I think humanity is a cancer to this planet and all the animals that inhabit it. i couldn't agree more!!! like i said before, people like that don't deserve to live, and when i was that age(5 years ago) i was outside working hard, and saving animals lives!

I don't think the boy is responsable, he's a little kid, he doesn't realize what he did, I'd punish him for it but not you know incredably bad, just so he realized he'd done something very wrong. And something that you need to realize is, imagine how people are gonna treat this kid the rest of his life, how much he'll be picked on and such. ITs sad for the animals and the boy really. He was scared so he killed them....Brillant. He'll look back on this a few years from now and think 'I was such an idiot for doing that, and I can never redeem myself.' But my mom wants to know something: Why weren't his parents watching him? I mean, really. I'm also interested in what they think of all this. Didn't they ever teach him killing and revenge were wrong? I agree, his parents were supossed to be watching him, unless he did it while they had their backs turned. Kids are suppossed to be taught at a young age that killed things-no matter what it is- is wrong.

(And, by what you claim that he'd done, I'd say that he had complete control over himself. It's not easy to break into a zoo and feel live animals to a crocodile without getting caught. I would imagine that a fully-functional brain would be needed for that little adventure.) It's called PUNISHMENT, and it should be given to that child with no restrictions. What he did was illegal, and if he's not punished for it now, who's to say that it won't happen again in the near future? I say that new parents are needed for this kid as well Lowin (or Rockandi, as is your new name) I couldn't agree more. A story like this literally makes me very sick in the stomach. When I was 7, I couldn't stop apologizing when I dropped a stuffed animal. It was his fault. It wasn't an accident. If he killed 3 humans, with no evidence of being provoked, and fed one of them to a crocodile, and lets also say that he's 30 instead of 7. Then would ya'll be sayin "It wasn't his fault!!!" No. Don't even bother trying to argue that with me. I don't care who you are, but murder (for no productive reason) will always be murder. If YOU or someone YOU LOVED got murdered by this kid and fed to a croc, would you be saying "He should be forgiven!" No? I thought so. Oh yeah. And if anyone says anything about it being partly the croc's fault, I will flame you with no regrets.

And for those who said he isn't aware of what he's doing. You're wrong. At the age of seven, children are well aware of the feeling of pain, they know it's there and they know what hurts. He knows it was wrong, period. Now, if he stepped on a kitten or dropped a puppy by mistake, ok, that's understandable. But he certainly did not do this by accident... I might consider forgive him when someone gets sued~punished for this, but otherwise, there's no way in heck I'm feeling bad for this kid. He deserves to be punished.

I could only read a few sentences because i really felt sick. Who could do that sort of thing? I love animals and hate people who are cruel to them.
