I know I sound like a hypocrite but a few weeks back there was this one rp I did leave. The problem was it had like seven people in it but within less than a day there were over four pages posted by just three people in it and the story had jumped so far. It was so outrageous that I had to leave and within a few hours the entire rp was locked because the person who made it was also angry.

(I know I am bringing this topic back)
This has become a problem, but there are a few members (That say they leave and come back, a few Off topicers know who I am talking about) But- I found one got themselves in so many RP's, they neglected ones. (Plain rude) NO. I am very touchy on Role-Plays, when you RP with someone, you must treat that person with respect, they are GIVING YOU time of their life that they can not get back, giving their efforts into it. If you cannot respect that- You might as well turn your computer off and sit in a corner with a "Moron" sign on their heads. This has become more of a problem, in fact, I can name one person right off the bat that needs to cut down on this- Want a fast Role-Play? Role-Play with yourself, or an instant chat, a Role-Play on the forum is something that can go on for long, not a "Silly-Nilly let's do it for a bit" Role-Play. STOP Wasting people's time. >> -Calms down-

You have to love the old topics! Now, back on topic. Yes, this has happened to me many, many times! I used to be okay with it when i was younger and newer, now I am of crouse, more mature and more of a, senior? I do not RP much, truthfully. Lost all my heist when too many people kept quitting without saying a thing to me.
Thus, why I set A LOT of rules. One of them, is now always to let me know like, a day or so ahead of time that you are leaving. It's annoying, and I too can name a few people on here, yes here, BS Forums, that have ditched me without saying a word! But in respect, I will not name those people... Unless I am angered and let it slip. xD
Grr, it just annoys me when people do that! It shows they are irresponisible and do NOT care about other's feelings and thoughts. As KZ had said, we waste our time, time of our LIVES, waiting for replies to posts, and for people to respectfully join and attempt to end the roleplay. Roleplays, to me, are suspossed to be taken very seriously here on the forums and in chats.
If you want it quick, make a short, easy to follow and end plot, and also voice it with people somewhere!
Ah, now to wait for the dead topic to be reborn with rants, agreements, and arguements. x3

If they have a good, logical, plausible reason for it, don't get mad and stuff.
But too many members are leaving because they feel like it. This is wrong, some members dont even post, then they say that they are leaving, after making the bio and being accepted. THis is annoying, and it needs to stop. I mean, if you are going to leave, atleast go a few pages, and warn them beforehand, so they can do something, find a replacement if you are a main character. If you can't, and you weren't expecting it or something, yeah, we can understand that. But try to know what is going on, so situations like that won't happen often. We can't see tyhrough the computer and into your house and know what is going on, we need explanation.

I agree with Dutch on that. The excuse is BS alot, but all the others don't have a problem with it. Not a very good explanation there, gove examples or something, we want to know the truth.

Well, most of the members on this site are pretty young(not too surprising) so it's easy to get fed-up with the way they RP sometimes(I once quite all RP's and almost the site a few months ago out of extreme frustration). Doing advanced RP helps but it still happens. There isn't much we can do because we can't force somebody to RP. We just have to hope that whatever RP we're in has people that will stay all the way to the end, no matter what that end may be.
