It's really confusing and members should really stop doing this. They need to respect their account and keep one instead of just deleting it and making a new one. And oh, why do they make a new one? To have a new name? Either way, it needs to be stopped. Which does not address the original purpose of this topic. And you still have not. Only Lowin has. And frankly, I too have witnessed webrankers playing the mod routine on the shoutbox, and it is entirely inappropriate. I have already reported one webranker for it. The webrankers have no business playing about being moderators. They should CALL a moderator in if needed. Just as some members feared (and stated) in the past, and I believe Ghost-unit alluded to in this topic, the creation of this position has allowed yet another abuse of authority (real or imagined...in this case, imagined would definitely be the case) and duties. And I have seen many occasions where groups of webrankers hang around in the shoutbox, and band together against any given member who has actually done nothing wrong whatsoever. This is an interpretational issue. But nevertheless, wrong is wrong. And a webranker acting the mod is wrong. Tarja may well have acted like a mod before. She wouldn't be the only one. That is a separate issue. It should not have been broached here. The topic is about webrankers acting like mods. The original purpose of the topic was to rant against me. And it was over something Tarja got confused over. I asked her why she keeps deleting her account, then we faught, and the whole topic somewhat changed over confusion. So yeah, it pretty much does address to the original purpose of the topic. And once again, Tarja, I never acted like a mod in the shout box. I don't even want to be a mod. I never understood why so many people here want to be mods, anyway.

Quote: I see no direct evidence of that. I don't see her naming you, or calling you out. Trust me, the topic is pointed to me. Tarja and I have talked about it in the shout box. Just because my name isn't anywhere in the topic doesn't mean anything. She didn't use names in the topic because that is just downright rude.

No, members and webrankers should not act like a mod. Especially "giving people warnings", mods have a proper warning system webrankers can't access so they have no business giving out warnings of their own.
Though this topic needs to cool off. I see it's been personalised, it's better not to do that. The person may be aiming it at you but they've not mentioned any names OR hinted that they're complaining about only one person and assuming they are creates flame wars and fights.
Back on topic.

There is a difference between telling a person not to use SMS, and all the other stuff, and giving out ban warnings. While it is true webrankers and regular members should not give out the whole 'Stop using SMS' or 'Stop cursing or you'll be banned' or something like that. That's the moderators job, but there are times when a mod is not around which leaves either regular members and webrankers around. So, when there is a person who is breaking the rules, they should not give out the ban warnings but there is the report button that can be used and is used to report any rule breakers. Even the normal members and webrankers have a right to speak their mind about rule breakers. However, there are moments, even when a moderator is on, that things can get out of control but we're all human.

YOU need to chill out Native and I am not the bad person YOU claim me to be and I recall you started this flame war neh?
P.S. As I recalll you have startd bossing other members around like Tasha before I came on the shoutbox was I correct? Ah, looks like you have musunderstood my question again. I never asked you if you had more then one account, heck I don't care how many accounts you have. It has nothing to do with me. My question was why do you keep deleting your accounts. And I didn't make a big fuss about in in the shout box. It was a just a tiny question that you over reacted to. And I know you never said my name in the rant, but I do know that you mean me. You even just admitted it, hehe.

This is something you two need to talk about in a private area. Maybe on MSN, AIM, or YIM... just somewhere else, please? We do not need any flame wars to start up between members.
