I was talking about the one in the movie. The real Balto looks and acts nothing like the one from the "animated movie".

if you dont want cookie-cutter movies, check out a series of unfortunate events. i know it seems a little weird, but i like how the family sticks together. and sunny is HILARIOUS!

No DT, I mean think about they way they are:
Smart (In a way, to Steele I mean, he cant have been THAT thick, because if he was he wouldnt have confused Balto by making extra markings)
Cunning (Steele's lying)
Yes they are both huskies and yes they are both pure, but think about they way they think...and act.

I'd write intelligence but people might think that Steele isnt that intelligent so...Personal opinions.

Oh, brother. Steele may have been cunning, but intelligence means nothing by way of common ground. Thomas Paine was brilliant when it came to rallying troops. So was Adolph Hitler. Show me someone who would say those guys were alike.
Jenna never acted like Steele. She's not a con-artist, she's not pushy, and she actually cares about others. Steele, as you can see, was perfectly happy to let an entire town die just to satisfy his ego. Jenna, by contrast, risked killing herself to save them. In terms of popular literature, this is every bit as silly as it was in The Last Battle when people claimed that Aslan and Tash were one and the same.

I know...I think that kind of stuff really gets old after a while too, doesn't it? Exasperating, annoying, over-done (as an excuse and a defense), and on, and on, and on...

I agree with you. But there are just a certain number of people in this community who have no respect for the characters, and feel some strange need to twist things around and do them harm. It's quite perplexing. And, occasionally, offensive.

just to keep the peace, this discussion wasn't made to fight. it was made to see other people's opinion's on the subject. i know i said 'i think its just plain wrong', but i still respect other people's opinions on this subject. im not saying you are fighting, im just making sure no one is holding grudges against each other just because i brought this up and two people think differently.

I think you contradicted yourself there. On the first part, you appear to agree with my statement that it's stupid to "ship", and then you turn around and say just the opposite. Interesting.
