Who's your favorite dog?

well I know this topic is a few months old, but I've been absent for a while...

My Fave dog, Or persay the one I know MOST about would have to be Togo.

I like the others as well, but togo is the one who did most of the work here.. sorry but Balto would have to be Last on my list

I'd honestly have to say its slightly ... silly? to pick one to favor more than the rest.

All of the dogs played a huge part. So many people only give credit to Balto and Togo; largely thanks to the movie and the fact he was on the team that delivered the anti-toxin into Nome. And what about the mushers? Without the mushers the dogs wouldn't have been able to do any of that.

It may be a familiarity thing, people just know more about Balto, but all the dogs that helped bringing the anti-toxin to Nome possible deserve equal love; same with the mushers.

Not meant in a rude way by any means, btw.

It isn't always easy to pick a favorite. The dogs are all special in the sense that they worked hard to deliver the serum, but they are special in their own different ways as well. Some lead teams, some traveled farther, some suffered injuries, some sacrificed their lives. And even the mushers have pushed themselves and suffered right along with the dogs to make sure that they succeeded in their mission. There's something about Balto that makes me feel so inspired. I always felt that way ever since I was a kid 15 (I guess technically 16) years ago when this first came out. The fact that he was inexperienced and viewed as "pretty worthless" but proved himself to be more capable than anyone who knew him would have imagined just proves to me that you can acheive anything you want if you work at it, which is an important life lesson for anyone. I've been told a lot of times that I couldn't do something or wouldn't amount to anything. I never understood why because I never did anything to show that I wasn't capable. Needless to say, I've made it in life so far and am doing great, so in a way I can relate to him, too. I think that's why he'd be my fav if I really had to choose.

Actually no.. she's more dog than wolf. Her mother was a purebred husky, and her dad was half husky, so the husky blood would dominate the wolf blood. 45% dog, 15% wolf = Aleu's genetics.

Also, like others have said, this is about the real dogs of Balto's true story. Not the animated films.

Actually it would be 75% dog and 25% wolf
