Oh, I can understand that. I wish I could meet my spirit guide.

I know this may seem completely out there for some people, but I for one believe you. I have had some experience with the paranormal, but it was at the complete other end of the good-bad spectrum. (If you want to know what I'm talking about, feel free to PM me for specifics.) I think it's absolutely amazing that you have a spirit friend/guide. And I don't find it incomprehensible for a spirit to love you, after all, he was a living person once too.

Does he come when you call him?

Well, I don't really know what do I believe right now, but I can pretty much say it sounds a bit unreal at some parts, like yourself talking to a... "shadow". Mostly because I believe in Ghosts, or Spirits, or unexisting Material (which you cannot touch) like in the Tooth Fairy or Santa. Sorry I don't really believe in... those "stuff". (sorry if it may sound rude, but that's it)
My second bet would be, it can either be your imagination playing tricks or something.
But if I am wrong, then my apologies.

Well, like you said where you heard distant voices, then being harmed, leading to a Spirit Guide, well...

I'll just say this directly:

"As Jessica knows, I've been hearing voices to die as well, leading to ghosts, spirits, a demons in my house, beating and abusing me. My mother had used holy water to take them out. Yet today, I still get threats of being killed, and I'm STILL being abused and beaten by god who knows what now... but... do you possibly think this, whatever it is, could be a Spirit Guide? If not, what do you think it could be? The holy water had not worn off yet, for it's only up to a month old. Thank you for taking the time to answer this."

i didn't really like the beginning of your story.. didn't wanna hear it in the first place.. you could have kept that out to be honest.. wasn't really necessary posting about your parents bad happenings in here.... anyways about your ghost friend or w.e.... no comment... i do believe in ghost.. but to the point where they tell you a story and actually talk to you is... not believable.. i watch Paranormal state (where teens get in contact and talk to ghost) and other ghost shows and not one person can have a REAL conversation... lol but hey if you were that young could have been your imagination and whatnot.. but who knows
