History: If you were to ask Kaya about their history, she would say that they were once lead sled dogs for mostly competition. An accident caused her to lose her ability to have pups and cost her brother his voice. They had to be moved to the Great North for further treatment

This was a very unfamiliar place. Kira felt on edge as she and her new owner casually walked through the gathering of humans on the side of a long stretch of open wasteland. Although the Great North was never spoken of back in the Inuit village in Alaska, the climate was the same; cold and snowy. 'At least it's still got snow.' Kira whisper to herself as she walked on her owner's right side, keeping close.

It wasn't long until the Inuti dog was lead to two other men, one of which was holding the leashes of two dogs. Clearly this was some sort of exchange, and Kira didn't like it one bit. Her ears slid backwards and her tail partially tucked between her hind legs. 'Something's definitally wrong, here...' Kira informed herself as she watched her owner outstretch his arm, holding out her leash's handle towards the other man, whom held small green pieces of paper. 'Oh, this is just great...'

Another canine was also being lead to this area, but instead of being calmly walked towards the small group, she was being pulled. The black and white hybrid yelped and jumped in all directions, trying to break or loosen the leash that tightened around her neck, due to her struggling. Maya wasn't used to being pulled like this, she was just a puppy to begin with. "Hey, that hurts you know!" She yowled as she dug her paws into the blanket of snow that had already gathered on the ground. The man lightly tugged on the leash before he yanked on it, sending Maya forward and stumbling to stay on her feet.

When they eventually came up to the group, Maya strayed towards a light brown and cream dog, whom also seemed to be in the same predicament. "Are you being sold too?" Maya asked, her eyes wide with anxiety.

Kira looked down at the yearling with a very serious expression, but having a slight soft spot for youngsters, the Inuit nodded gravely. "Yes, I think we all are. But the reason for it being this way is uncertain." Her tail gently swished to and fro as she glanced at the two male dogs that where here before she and Maya arrived.

I have to go for 3 days. Don't go far.

Ooc// Sorry, I didn't get to post yesterday, I had to do some stuff. I will try to get to it today.

Bic// A young female Siberian Husky was curled up in the shadows, her blue eyes watching all of the new dogs' faces as they changed from excited to confused, and finally to angry or scared. They caught everything, including the familiar exchange from the previous owner to the new one, of some strange green cards. Kaycee was slightly depressed, watching some of other sled dogs' sad scared expressions. She sighed heavily, then decided to get to her feet and greet the new members joining her on their team. Why are we all being forced to come here? What is the reason, the motivation? I miss my old owner.. These were the same thoughts that had been running through her mind for the past two days. She and her friend Audrina were thankfully together so that they didn't have to suffer the confusion and anxiety alone.

"Ugh, when does the friggin' race get started? I'm so tired of sitting around watching all these wimps whimper because they're being sold."
Audrina, a fluffy Alaskan Malamute complained to her best friend Kaycee. She was small, young, very poofy, but full of spicy attitude. Unlike most of the other dogs coming in, Audrina wasn't frightened or nervous about her exchange between owners. She knew that it was only for the purpose of racing, sled racing, and that was the language she spoke the best. The fiesty female nudged her companion, who was six months older than herself, and tapped her paws in an irritated manner against the snow.
"What's your problem Kaycee? Just relax..." Audrina pushed her nose into her friend's fur and poked her a little harder this time, trying to make her annoyed so that she would pay attention.

"Quit it Audrina, I'm just worried about how the new dogs will react to us."

" Why do you care what they think Kayc, who cares? I sure flippin' don't."
