If peolpe can get rappers now a days to talk about the true meaning in life it would be much better for more people them selves to under stand how hard life can be. Rappers could try to rap not only about them selves but others.

To be honest, I don't really like rap, I use to love it, but now all really there is to it is the fact that all they are about are "chicks" and "Cash". But I don't mind some of the "Old style" rap, it is much better than the 21st centry type

I don't mind rap at all. Just because alot of the songs are 'innapropriate' doesn't mean it doesn't take time and effort to write and sing them. And some of the most popular songs around here are rap, and aren't really about sex or drugs or anything like that. Like Stay With Me by Ironik. Very moving and sad rap song about losing someone close to you and equality and stuff like that. With a haunting chipmunk hummed tune and chorus. Fantastic song. ^_^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nf078KIy7g I love it. <3 Doesn't convince you? What about We Made It by Busta Rhymes (ft. Linkin Park)..? A powerful song about determination, success etc. It's actually an incredible song. It involes some bad language though. Just a warning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coD8540ge9EAlot of rap songs are just dance music aswell. ~ I'm not trying to change people's opinions on rap. -.- so don't say I am. I'm just showing that not all rap is meaningless and c rap as most people seem to think it is. kthxbai. <3 ~ Rebel

And actually, I haven't heard any rap yet about drugs or sex yet either. And though some of the people back in the old days usually sang about those types of bad things, I liked the older rap (2 pac, Eazy-E (I'm not a super huge fan though), etc.). The rap today is a disgrace (like Soulja Boy)! Sorry if I already made a post, I didn't really want to edit my last post for some reason. O_o I love that song, Handlbars. It's my favorite rap song..since most rap is blah. But some like that is good.[/quote] *Noddeds*I like that song to,and I agree Soulja Boy disgrace
