I asked the same question... But I personally think it should be a racing/RPG all in one!

If they actually put effort and money into it instead of just throwing it together it would be awesome.

Yes, I WOULD LOVE IT. Unfourtunatly, I don't think they will do it. It's a 30% out of 100. Balto is soooooooooooooo underrated!!!!!!! I HATE IT!!! Ideas for the game: The video game could start after "WoC" They NEED to put the original actors in. (KEVIN BACOOOOOOOON!) Add enemy's. (Wolves, hunters who kill wolves for the fun of it, other animals, humans, ETC) So yeah, that could be a great game.

Here's a concept that I think might make for a good game. Has anyone heard of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Series? It's a dungeon-crawling RPG in which you explore areas, collecting treasure and completing missions. In addition to yourself, you can bring up to three others with you in your party, to help you take down enemies that may appear.
I'm thinking of something similar, in which you could play as any of the Balto characters (along with some new ones to increase the variety of characters) and explore the area around Nome. There would be a set of missions for the main quest, but there would be a plethora of side missions that would allow you collect more treasure and experience for your team.

I chose maybe. If they did make a game I would be one of the first to buy it. But I don't see how they can make it into a video game.

Hi guys, this is Husky 1. I would personally love to see a Balto video game. I have loved Balto from a really young age. My suggestions for a video game would be based more in the future. A somewhat later date then the Balto film series. I think an action packed adventure game would be very sweet. I think that it should have puzzles and mind games that needed to be solved similar to the Tomb Raider series. (This comes from love of Tomb Raider and having beaten 1, 2, 3, last level of 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9). I think Balto should have some human helpers though. A good story line for the game would be that he has to recover a weapon of mass destruction in the hands of an opposing country that decides that they want to eliminate people that live in a wide area using the weapon. Balto should have human help and some resources to assist him on this particular quest. He will have to defeat enemy guards, savage wolves, bears, etc.... . Of course, this journey should be difficult. Various of the user that put "Hunters that kill wolves for fun". I decided to alternate that into enemy guards that defend the weapon with mass assault rifles such as AK-47's. The game should start somewhat easy at first, but it eventually turns into a race against time. Another cool feature would be Balto having to find food for his team of comrades (These comrades being American troops). I thought up this game because I thought it would be a really cool game that comes from my mind.
Husky 1 out.

Certainly an inteesting idea...but if you consider the movies, all three of them if you will, can you honestly see a way to make a sensible game with interesting story combined with a gameplay that dosent make it seem like its from the early 90s? I cant. I love the idea, but I just dont think it would be a scsess

I'd make it a open platform game, sort of like grand theft auto. You'd have several dogs around town, and wolves in the wild, you help, some you need to fight. There would be missions which take you out of town to rescue people from avalanches, bears, rivers, and moose. You'd also find yourself torn between your brother, who is leader of a wolf pack, and the dogs of town which includes Jenna and your family. The wolves would be tired of the humans and dogs on their land, and the dogs would be fighting the wolves to stay in the town. And whatever side you choose at the last level would win. You'd have to keep your health up by eating what you can hunt or find. You would be able to increase your skill at fighting and using your tongue to diffuse confrontations. Then there would be an online multiplayer platform where you create your own character, make packs of wolves and dogs and fight and hunt. How's that sound?

I didnt mean it like that. I meant that a Balto game where the ending can differ between: Happy ening with wife and kids, and running into the forest with a pack of wolves, leaving a devastated Jenna and slightly cranky offspring. Moral decisions im sorta OK with, but in my opinion, that would be taking it just a bit too far... Am I making any sense? I think im starting to lose my grip on this one...
