there fixed a few mistakes spelling and grammatically

Animals fallow a trial and error method of thinking. An animal could be taught how to, maybe, use a stick to get an object down via trial and error, and they could be taught how to tie to sticks together to make one larger stick, but they would not be able to tie two sticks together and use the longer stick to get an object down unless they relearned the whole process through trial and error.

A human could have the knowledge of the two skills and combine them to get the object down.

As to whether or not this is how we measure true Smartitude really is another question on it's own

Anyways, that's off topic the real deal is, do we, as stupid, humans care about the animals? I Do indeed love animals, if I didn't care for animals I would not care for my cat, and I'm the regular feeder of her.

4 animals do have intelegince, i mean think about their survil skills alone, not to mention their ablity to love unconditionaly, oh and then theres the fact that they could over throw us easy if they truly wanted to.

I agree, there have been instances where it may seem that animals are smarter than humans (I saw one myself; a mother did not watch her child as he tossed rocks at some baby ducklings (he missed, don't worry) and the mother duck lead the ducklings away). There are even jokes, too (check out Jerry Seinfeld's bit about helmets. "There are a lot of things you could point to to say that people are dumb. The helmet is my personal favorite. Why did we invent the helmet? Well, we realized that things we were doing were cracking our heads. But we decided not to avoid these activities, but to create little plastic hats so we could continue with our head-cracking lifestyles!") but fundamentally, it's not the case. Cases such as the one mentioned above and others mentioned in this topic may make it seem that way, but it's not entirely the case. Humans are, in many ways, smarter than animals. Why? Well, since you discount inventions, I'll give you four reasons: 1.) We are the only species known to use what's known as "language" (i.e conveying thoughts with speech and/or writing) 2.) we're one of the few creatures on earth that has a clear concept of the rather abstract concept of the future 3.) We've actually invented stuff that does not pollute (hello, solar panels? Wind turbines? Electric cars? Hydrogen fuel cells? Recycling? Of course, whether people use them or not is a different matter...), and 4.) there is no animal that I'm aware of that can do calculus.

Don't get me wrong, I love animals about as much as any of you do, but seriously, this is too extreme. I have seen animals that were really smart, but I'm sorry, that doesn't make them smarter than humans. Plus, the statements made earlier were way too generalizing. Not all humans just pollute and crap like that. There are plenty more who do things like rig their schools and homes to run entirely on solar power...

As to the multi-account issue, I ran an IP check on both users and no, Second Chance is not Ryke.

I'll give this topic one chance to come out of the flame war, but if it doesn't, it will be locked.
