i prefer the chocolate because they're the least common in labs and i also like black cuz of the shine on their coat and just the jet black colour =] it's wonderful .. i don't like yellows much you see them everywhere but i love red labradors where their coat is a fox red and same with red retrievers. i'm not into the cream and goldens.. way too common.. but i don't mind white labs they're a nice colour especially my cousins friend who has one she's lovely with the deep brown eyes. makes the dog look great.. golden and yellow and cream is like everywhere!!

btw there is no brindle in labs unless they were mixed with a brindle dog... or w.e else .. labs only come in one of 3 colour coats anyways lol so what's with the standard (besides the white paws and chest and tail which is permissible)

Plus, I know a litter of Labs IRL which were black, but a few of the pups had brindle markings. They're guide dogs in training, so there's no way it was just an "oops" litter.

well i looked on the site and half of them aren't even labs to be honest if they're brindle they're not labs simple as that..i searched on google and the internet and under the photo's said lab mix with brindle and i went through over 20 pages and they all said the same thing. lol so they're not labs purely.. lol but nice find though..

oh and i did read but it's hard to believe things off the internet to be honest i never trust anything especially if it's posted randomly by someone anyone could say anything just to get peoples attention or get them on their site. And dogs born with patches it's actually their birthmarks not something random or it could also be a mishap in the pups system when both parents are different colours and it could have been mixed up while choosing the pups colour while still in the womb or whatever. lol..

lol forgot to add another thing.. my uncles purebred lab had a puppy that looked like a cow (white and black) but found out there was a dog down his road that was white and black lol so i unno.. i'd like real proof besides rubbish pictures lol.. i'm more into "show me in real life besides telling me" kind of thing

Technically there's no way I can "prove" that brindle Labs exist. Feel free to disagree with me, but I do know brindles IRL, as I mentioned before.
Besides, the first photo of a brindle Lab on that link I posted looks 100% pure to me.

hehe well.. from all the lab pups i've seen looks quite mixed to me but hey those are your beliefs .. but ye... still nice find cute puppies gotta admit though

hehe adding another thing... chocolate labs are the rarest out of all lab coats the fact that in the old times.. when breeders had chocolate pups they'd kill them thinking something was wrong with the pup or some defect ....

My favourite coat colour of a Labrador Retriever is chocolate. I haven't seen many before but it looks beautiful ad really captures their personality. Also, the other colours seem to grey terribly as Labs get older, but yellow labs seem to the most.
