"Boris always does a good job cleaning, he's the only animal I know that knows how to use a broom." said Balto.

"Well I am doing what I like to do, besides taking care of a certain puppy that I like." said Boris, petting Balto's head. At this age, Boris is a lot less grumpy, that came with age.

Star whimpered. "Alright, I was just asking." he muttered.

"Steele why don't you go on ahead and we'll catch up? We need to check to see if that gossip about that husky is true." said Nickie, in truth he was just trying to protect Star.

OOC: Nickie was there all along, he just seems like a dog of few words.

Silvie chuckled. "Guilty as charged." she said. "I'll admit it, I'm a gossip." she said. "But I'd like to be your friend, I mean you look like a smart dog who might like a laugh or two, which gossip can give you."

OOC: I'm not doing colors anymore. I keep forgeting which one is which

Dixie smiled and laughed. "You might become one of us soon Jenna." She said. She spotted Steele and smiled. "Look at him! Isn't he just dreamy?" She asked Jenna. She already knew Slyvie's opinion.

Flash laughed. "Mind if I come over tonight and bring you guys some supper? I found out how to sneak past the butcher."

Steele turned and walked away. He liked his buddies. But somtimes they got on his last nerve.

Kaltag pulled Star by the tail. "You gotta be a little more positive, and a little less curious." He said. "Thanks for sending him away Nikki" Kaltag thanked the dog.

Jenna laughed. "I dont know" She said. She glanced at Steele and her thought swarmed away in her head.

"I don't know." said Balto, looking a little upset. "I don't do well in that part of town, I've gotten hit with more brooms than I can remember."

"I know but I can't help it sometimes." said Star, whimpering.

"No problem, I was just looking out for Star." said Nickie. "I swear I wouldn't be Steele's friend if I wasn't so scared of him. The son of a-" he started but decided not to finish sense he'd tecknically be insulting himself.

OOC: I'm trying to set up Star and Kaltag's gag.

"Yeah, he's hot all right." said Silvie. "But he's also got such a temper." she said. "But he's still hot."

OOC: you mean where he always hits Star?

Dixie smiled. "Ya he's got a temper but I'm sure for some good reason" She wasn't gonna let anyone mess up her heart for Steele.

Flash thought quickly. "Hey, I'll get the food and bring it out to the boat. How does that sound?" His ears pricked. "I heard this morning a cute new husky is in town." He said, remebering the gossip he heard this morning when he returned to Nome.

He walked up to his master and was walked away from the trio.

OOC: is Steele on the team or just training?

OOC: Yes, I love that.

"That's better." said Balto then heard about the husky. "Really...maybe if I can get to her before Steele I'll be able to convience her I'm not what everyone thinks I am."

"What do you say Kaltag?" asked Nickie, refering to Steele. "Honestly, I think he's too hard on Balto, I mean do we really know if that pup deserves to be picked on till he cries?"

"There's also Balto." said Silvie. Personily she didn't have an opinion on Balto but wasn't sure about Dixie. "He's this wolfdog that lives around here, Steele doesn't get along with him but I'm not sure about Balto how he thinks, he doesn't get recieved well in town." she explained to Jenna.

Dixie looked at Jenna. "I've never talked to him but I've seen him be picked on by Steele and his gang." she said.

Flash nodded. "Lets hurry before that happens" He dashed from the aleey and stopped at the end. He saw Slyvie talking to Jenna. Not good he thought to himself.

Kaltag Looked at Nikki. "I'm not sure" He said looking down at his paws.

Jenna looked at them. He sound like a freak. But maybe he wasn't so bad. What if he comes up to me whenever Dixie and Slyvie are around? I guess they'll approve me if I pick on him... She thought.

Flash scampered after Balto. "come on buddy, lets just hope the race is fun!" He suggested, hoping to cheer Balto up.

Kaltag looked over at Nikki. " I don't know what to say, He IS my cousin anyway. I mean, Sure he's a bit tempered, but he's never mean to me..." Kaltag said. "Hey look! Its the cat with Balto. We better follow Steeles orders and chase him out. I'm not in the mood for Steele's bad temper right now" Kaltag said.

Jenna looked at Balto. He seemed like a noce dog. "Why doesn't Steele like him?" Jenna asked.

"Yeah, I guess there is always that." said Balto. He heard a bump. "Did you guys hear that?" he said. He looked in an ally and saw two plor bears, one was about his size and the other was about twice as big. They seemed lost. "Hello?"

Boris cocked his head. He was about to pull Balto back but relized polor bear cubs where harmless.

"That's for sure!" yelled Star, seemingly randomly.

OOC: There's Kaltag's cue.

Silvie shruged. "I honestly have no idea, Steele said it was cause Balto stole his bone but I don't think that's enough reason for Steele to be that mean, I mean Steele is a well fed pure bred and Balto is a stray, who needed a bone more?"

Flash stopped. He hissed. "Who is there? He asked the white poler bears.

Kaltag reached his paw over the Star and smacked him on the head. He smiled and turned back to Nikki. "I'd follow his orders if I were you." He stood up and began to walk towards the Cat.

Jenna barely heard the two, she was thinking about how this dog felt.

Flash smiled and sat down. "Well, I'm Flash." He said. He shivered against the cold.

Kaltag turned to look at Nikki. "Get your mind on following the Boss's orders." He smiled. "Or you look like him!" He said pointing his tail at Star.

Flashed looked over his shoulder to see Kaltag turn his head and look at Nikki. But he was walking in his direction. He turned to Balto "Nah, now that I;m ready for it, this'll be fun!" He said. He turned back and pretended not to know about the trio.

Kaltag looked back at him. "If a bear is in Nome, a human will kill it! Now lets go get that cat!" He said running off in Flash's direction.
