A pitch black wolf eyed the pack. It was all to familiar to her. 'Nothing's changed.' she thought to herself. Her heart raced as dark, haunting flashbacks burned in her memory. Her father, oh how she longed to hear his soft voice. She shouldnt have left. Not when everyone needed her the most. Kiero. Dear Kiero. She left him, too. Without even a goodbye. Chino. Sweet Chino. He cared alot about her, and yet, she left him too.

Nyx sighed. Her legs were beginning to give in and she felt sick. It was hard to return... to return to the pack that she thought would hate to see her face again. They never left her in her time of need... but she left them. She left them all to die... to fend for their selves. Nyx wasnt expecting a warm welcome... from anyone. Not Kiero, Chino, Kiba, Blue... or the rest of the pack for that matter, but she knew she had to return. She had to let everyone know she thought about them every second of her life.

Nyx's fur was pretty dirty. She didnt look as well kept as she used to. She givin up on herself, just like she did everything else. Her eyes were a deep orange, but they held so much pain. So much hurt.

Nyx looked away and closed her eyes tightly. She was scared. Oh so very scared. She took a deep breath and walked foward, slowly. It was Kiba who noticed her first.

Kiba looked up, and that instant he locked eyes Nyx. At first he didnt reconize her, but when he finally relized who she was he froze. He didnt know what to think. Who did she think she was comming into the pack again, out of no where? The pack has done fine so far with out her. She left them, remember. But yet, something about her presence made him feel at ease, like he shouldnt worry anymore.

He didnt like the fact that she decided to come to them when they finally got back onto track. Her leaving left the pack in a depression, confusion, lost. ALthough Nyx left, he doesnt hate her. To be brutally honest, he's happy to see her face again.

Blue senced tension. She was napping next to her brother. His aroma's made her nervous, and woke her. When she turned to see what all his fuss was about, there she was... Nyx. Standing there. Nyx didnt look like herself. She was always well kept, so what happened? 'Wait till Kiero and Chino hear about this.' she thought. She didnt hate nyx. No, she couldnt. Nyx was always her best friend... her sister almost.

Yay! I'm so happy now! *returns my part of hug*<3

Kiero groaned as he reached the creek. The water gurgled and splashed between his paws, and his neck ached as he bent down for a drink. He sipped weakly at the deliciously cold water, and savered the fresh relief on his lips.The liquid wasn't half as filling as a proper meal, but at least it was something inside his stomach. Suddenly he heard a rustle and looked up, startled- to see a wolf standing at the other side of the creek. Was it Nyx???His hazy vision came into focus. No- it wasn't.Of course it wasn't. He shook the water droplets form his smokey-blue fur and stared curiously at the wolf. He'd never seen them before, but whoever it was...it was a female.


Que "other lover"

Tasha had been napping in the shade, her dreams troubled and full of unhappiness, when something woke her up. She suddenly opened her eyes and lifted her head, her gaze following that of the others. As she waited for her eyes to focus she wondered what the commotion was. "Wait a minute.. is that....Nyx?" she thought to herself as her eyes focused. She blinked to clear her vision and froze in shock. "i-it is... it's Nyx!" She thought "N-Nyx?" she asked "Is that you?". Her mind was racing. Although she liked seeing Nyx back.. and she didn't hate her... she wondered what the other pack members thought.

ok since no one else is joining for this "other lover" I guess I'll have to create her aswell!

Kmyah looked acroos the river and saw......the most stirring wolf she'd ever seen in her life.His looks alone were enough to take her breath away. He's goregous she thought to herself. And I haven't even got to know him yet.A sudden wave of affection rushed through her and she took a step out of the bushes. The wolf loked up, his green eyes bright with surprise. Kymah's body tensed, suddenly realising what a mistake she might have made. This was clearly his territory- she'd smelt him long before she'd seen him- what stopped him from ripping her up there and then? But instead his eyes seemed to glaze over with what looked like mild dissapointment, and he went back to his drink. Kmyah felt let down by the way he had ignored her- just like that. Her presence neither bothered him or interested him. But Nymah wouldn't give up on who she was convinced was her soul mate. Slightly disgruntled, but not phased, she boldly put a paw into the rushing water-....her eyes fixed on Kiero.....onto a slippery rock... and the current dragged her under....

Kiero heard a splash and looked up- the wolf had gone, and there were feminine screams ringing in his ears. Oh god.... he thought and without thinking arched his body and plunged into the water. He followed the sounds of the screams and somehow powered his weak muscles towads the panicking wolf ahead of him. She was clearly being dragged by the fierce current and couldn't fight against it.
"Hold on!" Kiero yelled to her."I'm coming!"

Nyx took a deep look at Tasha. She remembered. How? Why? Though she was'nt someone to be forgotten, she didnt exactly expect a 'good' welcome back home. Sure, she screwed up her life... and yeah, she did expect to be rejected, but yet everyone looked at her with mixed emotions. She was'nt sure how to respond to them. 'I'm back...' she thought of saying, but thats to plain... almost like 'im back, soo... accept me.' no! she was'nt going to say that. She did'nt know how to ask for their forgiveness. She looked over at Tasha again. "Yeah..." she hesitated. "It's me. I'm home now." she looked around at everyone. How she wished her dad was there to see her... how she wished he was there for her to apologize, to tell him she messed up and she was going to make it better, but she couldnt. She couldnt apologize to him... she couldnt hear him tell her he's happy to see her... and that things would be fine... he was'nt there to tell her he loved her. Nyx's mind raced towards Kiero. She missed him so...

"I- I'm sorry." was all she said then.


Kiba and Blue eyed her. She was sorry? Sorry for leaving them. They made do without her... and alot of them understood how uneasy she must have felt... with her father lay dying.. and so much responsibilty... so soon. She was young... they understood, right? Right. Kiba smiled at her... and Blue let off a smile of her own. If no one else was to welcome her, they would. They walked up to her, and nuzzled her affectionatly. Almost accepting the fact that she returned... and she is Alpha now. As of right now... she is still their Alpha, and they must obey her. It was what her father-their leader- would have wanted.

Suddenly the object ahead of him rolled to the side violently and then lay still in the rushing water. Alarmed by the fact she had stopped moving, Kiero put on an extra burst of speed, reached out and grabbed a hunk of hazel fur in his jaws. He realised that the girl had hit her head on a stone and so she was unconcious- and he started to panic. He lashed out with his claws at the rocks on the banks, trying to find a foothold that he could use to pull them both out of the water, but the current was dragging them too fast....

Suddenly he found a rocky ledge jutting into the river, latched onto it and hung on for dear life. Then, using his last ounce of strength he hauled them both out of the river and collapsed onto the pebbles, panting hard. He stayed like that for a few minutes- motionless.Then the cold water dripping down his fur began to make him shiver violently- he shook off as much as he could. Then curled his weak body around the sleeping female to keep them both warm. He doubted wether he had the strength to carry her all the way to his den- so it looked like they were sleeping here tonight. Wearily he closed his eyelids and soon he was fast asleep- dreaming of Nyx.

Well, we can all see where this is going XD What I think would be cool is if someone sees them sleeping together-not Nyx-but another pack member- and decides to keep it their own secret.....
