Well, I just really wanted to point this out... (The fact some Mods are doing nothing for the site.)

Well, if I was Togo, I would make you a Mod, not that it would make any diffrence as most users dis respect the Moderators evan more than there fellow users.

lol thank you, but I doubt that will happen...there are people who really don't care for my rather pointed and strict approach to things here.

In that last post? I was being a bit silly, yes. But there was a serious message behind it.

ohh, i agree you would be a great mod too! on all your posts, you show a lot of thought processing, and i generally agree with your opinions too.

All that's truly needed is some 'cleaning'. Inactive mods need to be...well not gotten rid of but the space could be used better by someone who IS active.
Depending on how many existing mods are 'deleted' or whatever you wanna call it then perhaps one or two more may be needed but also existing mods could do more. I know I spend hours sitting around with not much to do so have the spare time and I can think of quite a few main site mods who could easily handle forum mod jobs.

I agree. We need more active mods. However, we don't need to make all of the inactive ones taken off. Infact, if it will happen, I would suggest pming them to warn them. If they don't respond before the deadline, they will be taken off the staff list and replaced. Just a suggestion.

Okay, here's my take on this... we have more than enough moderators on this site and many of them do their jobs as best they can. Sometimes they can't always be on, considering they lives just as everyone else, even Steet and Togo. Should Steet and or Togo decide to clean up the inactive mods, they will do so when they feel the occasion calls for it or when the time is right. So, please, quit whining at how the mods aren't inactive and even when they are they don't do their jobs or they do their fellow moderators' jobs because they do the best they can. They would never have been appointed to the position if Steet or Togo felt they were right for it. You can argue all you want. The decisions of the webmasters stand. Respect them.

Again, thank you. :D It's very kind, and I frankly think I could do a very good job here. I just don't see it happening. And I have never asked (nor will I ever...the rule, after all, is the rule). If steet needs a mod, he'll call for it. Or I suppose he could take recommendations by PM. But I dare not even suggest it. I'm not exactly Mr. Popularity. ROFL. But I do believe I could do a very good job. *SIGH*

"Que sera, sera..."

Still, I could suggest this to Steet, whilst no one is on :)

Well, that is what I would do, send them an E-Mail for say a deadline of JUly 30th 2008, and if they havn't logged on by that date, remove them off the mod list, and replace them with somone who deserves the job.

But maybe when the Inactive mods where chosen, they where active, but they just got bored and decided to leave the site, without notice.

Now another thing comes to mind, the Administrators, well Zekee_US Anyway, I record on his profile, him not logging on since 2006, now I don't know the ins-and-out's of this topic but it is certainly one to point out.

Well, to be exact, I've sent a PM, to Togo, and Steet, about the Moderators, and Jersey, i've nominated you :)
