"Lie. Sa your purebred," suggested Turbojet.

She looked at him in thought to his question, then shook her head. "No, they would know I'm part wolf. The judges examine the dogs closely. Besides, I would need a good grooming to even disguise myself well enough as a domesticated dog... plus I would need an owner, a human to represent me."

"I can help," said Turbojet. "you should be able to compete. I really believe that."

"Really?" she asked, her eyes showing a glint of hope.

Turbojet nodded. "You'd do great. If we have to, we could make our own competition with other dogs as judges..."

"That would be great! ....Except that the other 'dogs' would have to be half breeds themselves, either that or not be discriminating."

Turbojet nodded. "I know. Half breeds for comperitors. Do you agree?"

She was a bit unsure for a bit, but she nodded. "Alright... let's give this a try."

After a while of preparation, they had the news spreading through the town of a half bloodline unique styles show. Hinote started to get quite excited about it, a smile apparent as she spoke with many of the halfblooded canines that wanted to join.
"Hmph. Look at little miss wannabe supermutt," a snobbish high class female dog chimed in as she strutted her way toward Hinote, along with her other two friends. Her nose was all in the air superiorly, as were theirs, but Hinote only narrowed her eyes at the sassy females. "You think this will get you any recognition?" the leading female asked prissily.
"For your information, I am doing what I want to do, regardless of what YOU think," Hinote retorted, not in the least bit intimidated by the Husky and her little friends. The other two female dogs laughed in giggles at Hinote's efforts as they walked off with the high class female.
Hinote glared, but inside it was obvious she was hurt and her self esteem lowered a little.

Turbojet stepped imtween them. "Get back, you piece of horse dung@" he snarled at teh husky, furious. "Leave her alone!"

"Oh look, another halfbreed loser stepping in to defend its own kind," the husky retaliated as she grinned at her snobby friends, who just giggled at his standing up to them.

"Stop talking down to mixeed breeds!" Turbojet snapped. "You think you're better but you're not!"

The girls simply laughed and snobbed off his comments as they left. Hinote lowered her ears as she watched them go, half in anger but also partially in sadness. Were they right? Was it possible that they WERE better than her? No. She couldn't think that way...

Turbojet turned to her. "Are you okay?"

Hinote put on a smile as she nodded. "Yeah I'm alright... thanks," she muttered out the thanks.

"You sure?" he asked.
