balto in my opinion, he much more grizzy and scruffy while aleu looks more polished and more husky

Well, it's a battle, remember in the first movie when Balto first asked Jenna out? He was scruffy... Unlike Alue who looks like a show-dog...

They are kind of the same, Aleu is Balto's flesh and blood after all.

I think that Balto looks a bit more wolfish then Aleu, even though Aleu looks more wild then her siblings. Balto has the build, the eyes (for the most part anyway), the untamed fur, and the way that he carries himself all going in his favor.

Well, I think they both have equal wolf appearances.

By blood and genetics, one would think that Balto has the advantages of looking more wild and wolfish (his mom was a wolf, you know!), but although Aleu is only 25% wolf (thanks to Jenna's purebred status . . . well, we think it is anyway . . .), she definitely has some looks that make her easily seem more wolf than Balto.

Take the eyes for example: Aleu's eyes just look more wolfish - gold and blue (very wild-looking), slanted, not round, but more diamond-shaped. Balto's eyes, however, seem almost as wild in the first film (don't start anything about his design in WQ . . . off-topic!) with that fiery-red mixed with gold . . . but the only thing that makes him stand out is the shape. His are roundish, not slanted and diamond-shaped like his daughter's (or his mom's for another thing . . .).

However, their design and coat colors make them both look wild. The whole brown-gray tone gives off that sense of wildness, plus the light-beige (or in Balto's case, his are more tan than beige IMO . . .) markings in that rough manner add some rugged, scruffy look to both of them. But, I prefer Aleu's brown blaze than Balto's eyepatches . . . that's just me, of course.

Most other things that the two of them have are similar: big paws (which it seems that Kodi inherited as well), those darker ears (with exception of Aleu as a pup and prior to her adventures in the wild), and that rugged pieces of fur near their noses (Kodi's is more of a marking down his nose, so his isn't the same as theirs). Of course, the whole curled tail that Aleu has is inherited . . . well, from both parents - they both have husky blood in them, so that's clearly dominant and she shows it rather often.

So after all of this, I'd have to say that both of them seem to look more like wolves when it's necessary for them to appear as such. Balto looks more wolf whenever he's angered or serious about something (in my opinion), while Aleu . . . gah, she's about the same way too. However, when she's sad or disappointed about something, clearly her dominant husky shows.

Juuchan17... you have the perfect answer and reply for this and well.. i agree and is very true about the eyes and the last part of their feelings shows which side of them shows the most..

Could you please be abit more specific in your answers, exept just 'they both look the same'. Like at least post a reason to why you think they both look the same, and in what movies hopfully.

I think it's Aleu.

I would go for Balto. He seems more wolfish because his howl sounds more like a wolf and he is brave as a wolf. Unlike Aleu, she has a wacky howl and she looks like a bit of husky to me. I like Aleu, but I think Balto is more wolf than her.

To me Aleu just looks like a Siberian husky. Alot of Siberians look like that.

Aleu,because she not only howled as an teen/adult,but as a pup also.
