I saw it yesterday, and I loved it. =] It was worth the wait. Heath did an excellent Joker, and I believe Bale is the best Batman yet. (my opinion though) I loved the ending scene and the interrogation room scene, they were my favorites. Hopefully I'll get to see it again before its out of theaters. Whether you're a fan of batman or not, I'd go see it. My mother went with me, and she's not much of a comic book fan, but she liked it. I'm gonna stop rambling about it though, I don't want to accidentally leak spoilers. What about the next villain though? SPOILER;; I assumed it would be twoface, but he kinda can't now. :/

That might be so. Maybe he was unconcious, knocked out cold by the fall. The fall didn't kill Batman, but I suppose it depends on how he landed. Then they had the ceremony for Harvey at the end. So I don't know, and I really am not looking forward to the wait for the next one. Perhaps The Riddler will be the next villain? Or Catwoman. When Mr. Fox was talking about the new batsuit, he did say it held up "even against cats." I hope that isn't the case though, and that was just an ironic line they put in. They need to get some villains that haven't been used yet, then go back to the used ones.

I just read on Yahoo!News it has broken the biggest record ever and beat Spiderman right out of where its been standing for the last couple of years. Its no suprise though being almost EVERYONE wants to see it because the majority of people love batman, heath's dead and everyone who was his fan wants to see his last movie, and the Joker and Two-Face are very well known villians. I still havent seen it yet but, I'm gonna try by the end of the week. I've anticipated it since I've seen the trailers.

This may be the first Summer blockbuster nominated for best picture. It just goes THAT deep.

I've read so many reviews, and a lot have been saying that this film should have been 'R' rated. I was slightly shocked. It is a dark film and there are mentions of torture, but like any good film, it leaves it to the imagination. I never saw it as R violence. Thoughts on this? warriorcat wrote: me and my family are gonna be going to see this really soon. not really looking forward to it becuase the first batman movie took so long to acually get into the really good stuff. I'm assuming by 'first batman', you mean Batman Begins? Batman Begins was simply an introduction, and it was definitely needed to set up the darkness (not quite the proper word, but I'm at loss for something better) of this film. The Dark Knight is nothing like Batman Begins. You won't be bored and have to wait for the action, it moves pretty quickly. It might be a 2 and 1/2 hour film, but it sure doesn't feel like it. If you like explosions, you might as well start looking forward to this film.
