Mist heard a faint cry in the distance. She wondered what creature had gotten itself trapped this time. As she trotted nearer, Mist discovered that the cried sounded like a dog, maybe a wolf. She hurried to the trap but stopped in her tracks. It was just a pup, a mutt too. It crossed Mist's mind just to leave him, hoping the hunters would have pity on the pup, but she doubted the hunters took pity on any thing. She walked closer to the crying pup, unable to leave the poor thing alone.
Dan watched as the wolf came closer to the pup. Odd. Why would she leave her pup alone long enough for it to get caught in a trap. His mother had always been there to make sure we steered clear of them. Maybe she just wasn't a very good mother.
Alex looked out at the woods. Maybe we could still catch up with party. Maybe he could prevent any harm coming to Mist. But then again, maybe he couldn't.

Luke sniffled and stopped crying, he looked at Mist. "A-are you come to help me?" he asked, cocking his head. "M-my parents...they're gone." he said, bursting into tears again, he wouldn't explain any further, it was too painful to do so.

By now Adolfo was weak and exhausted, he lay down to rest in the snow only to be both awakened and annoyed by the faint sound of crying.

Mist wasn't sure what to say. His parent were gone? Was he abandoned or something? Oh well. it didn't really matter. "Yeah, I;m here to help. Just hold still. You'll be out in a second." Mist was no expert at getting traps undone, so she had some difficulty. But she just couldn't get it undone! She looked desperately at the pup, not wanting to let him down.
His parents were gone? But his mom was right there! Unless, they weren't related at all. Dan sighed as he watched the she wolf struggle with the trap. Unlike her, he was an expert at undoing traps. Quietly, we walked up to the two. "Need some help?"
Alex made sure no one was watching before he ran into the woods. He was determined to find Jacob and stop him from bringing back Mst. And, also, to find Mist and discover the truth. Because it wasn't possible that the accident really was all her fault.

Luke stopped crying and sniffled. He looked at Dan. "Please?" he asked in a desprate voice. He looked at Mist. "Thanks for trying." said Luke. "My name is Luke, I'm only 9 months old." he said, begining to wag his tail slightly.

From a distance Adolfo began to circle around the group responsible for his awakening with both hatred and jealousy in his eyes, he longed to have what he believed they did, a family and the normal life that had been stripped away from him at a young age. As images of his uncle murder which he was helpless to prevent flashed through his mine he charged at them after letting out a loud howl only to be captured in a nearby trap.

Dan smiled and began to undo the trap. Finally, little Luke was free. "nice to meet you. I'm Dan." He was interrupted by a loud howl that belongs to a chargin wolf.
Mist stepped in front of Luke for some odd, motherly reason. She tried not to laugh when the wolf got caught in another trap.

Luke smiled when his leg was free but whimpered when the wolf charged, he gladly stayed behind Mist. He pinned his ears, put his tail between his legs, and covered his eyes with his front paws, scared and whimpering.

Adolfo dropped the tough wolf act when getting caught in a nearby trap and whimpered while looking at the group of wolfs pleading for help.
Sorry guys I have to go out for a bit, I'll be back in an hour or two.

Daelie woke up from her sleep and wandered around and suddenly saw two wolves and a pup. She walked up to them cautiously and hid behind a tree near them and whispered to herself I wonder what they are doing

Sadie, thinking it wouldn't be offensive now that she knew he was no tough wolf, broke out laughing. "Sorry," she said betweeb laughs.
Dan chuckled a little before going to get the new wolf out of his trap too. "There ya go," he said when the wolf was free.

Luke poked his head out to look. He saw the wolf wasn't being mean so he catiously came out from behind Mist and set beside her. He looked up at her. "This might sound strange but...I'm all alone and I need someone to take care of me, I'm not old enough to take care of myself, I know that, so...could you be my new momma?"

Mist looked donw at the pup. She was at a loss for words. But, if that was what it took to be sure that the pup was safe and not alone, Mist decided it would have to do. "Of course," she said. She looked at everyone else and decided that intorductions might be useful. "By the way, I;m Mist."
"Daniel. But you guys can just call me Dan." Dan had always preferred his nickname to his actual birth given name. Then, he saw a wolf out of the corner of his eye. "Come on out," he said to her. "I know your there."
Alex rushed through the forest, following the search party's trail. He was the fastest wolf in his pack so it did not take long to see them in the distance. It was a good thing they had their noses to the ground looking for Mist, or Alex might not have caught up so easily. Alex walked up quickly, trying to pass them without being seem or heard.

"I'm sorry" said Adolfo bowing his head out of shame for his previous actions "I don't know what came over me." He looked at the young pup and was reminded of his very own youth, "I'm sorry to hear about your parents, kid"
