Jack slowly sat up with Jade's aid, shaking and trembling. As Jade was rubbing his wrists, Jack slowly stutters his reply. "S-some b-bunch of kid-d-dnappers, I th-think." He sighed white puffs out of his mouth and he glanced at the girl who aided him, "Thanks for the help. I'm Jack, supposedly on a vacation." He extends his extremely trembling hand.

Xinal looked up as Jack slowly got up. He's finally up! He grinned. Now off to- His thoughts were cut off when he heard a faint echo of a gunshot. He whipped his head around and ran out of the cave into a blizzard and tried to scan the forest in front of him. "Don't tell me they're up and about?" He whined.

Jade smiled and shook his hand then gasped and looked up at the two wolves, and whimperd "is it them?" She looked back at Jack "Oh and my Names Jade"

Ember growled softly and mutered "oh great, more humans" She pinned her ears then glanced back at Xinal and then kid pups then paced at he mouth of the cave "Comon, this isnt safe anymore, i now a safer deper spot "lglanced to the weak whelpings "we have to carry them..."

Jack looked up as Jade looked away to the wolves. "Th-they're persistent-t!" He struggled to stand up just as Jade replied giving her name. "I-it's a pl-pleasure to m-meet you. Even in th-this manner." He sighed before finally getting up on his two feet. He took a step forward, Yes! I'm okay-, his thoughts were cut short as he fell over face first into the floor of the cave. Slowly pushing himself up with his numb arms he shook his head in disbelief. "I ca-can't even walk right. M-my leg's are n-n-numb." His arms were also near numb state. In fact he can barely feel his own body.

Xinal heard Ember's suggestion and nodded in ascent, "I agree." As he listened to her suggesting that they should carry the human pups he sighed, "I guess. We'd get away faster if we did that." As he sawJack stand, a glimmer of hope flickered within him, but it was blown out as Jack felll face first. He padded over as Jack was getting up.

"Get on." Xinal barked lying down beside him. Jack looked at him for a moment. Then reached a hand out to him...

...only to pat him. Xinal's ears dropped as Jack patted his head. "This is ridiculous. Can you tell him?" Xinal barked to Ember, "You seem to get your ideas across our language barrier."

Jade gasped and was about to hury to his side but held back, when the wolf went to him she held back timidly. She smirked and softly whispered to jack "he wants you to get on him" She glanced at Xinal and smiled softly then looked up at the wolfess.

Ember shook her head "IM not the one that can, that gurl pup is" Motioned twoards the female and then looked once more outside then padded to the side of her and waited to help the boy up.

Jack looked up at Jade with embarrasment and confusion splattered on his face. "Oh... I didn't know. S-s-orry ab-bout that." he muttered to Xinal before trying to pull himself up and over, his numb legs barely able to push his body upwards. He slipped at one point grabbing unto Ember's pelt, which he instantly released with fear of hurting the other wolf. He instantly fell to his side of Xinal with only his left hand on his back. "S-s-sorry." He struggled up once more.

Xinal stifled a laugh, this was getting very stupid. He decided to quicken things and grabbed Jack by his collar and dragged him away a little bit from the other two. Ignoring the shout of alarm from Jack, he tossed him into the air and slipped under his body to catch him. Jack released his breath when he realized he did not hit the cave floor. And muttered his thanks. Xinal tipped his head in confusion not understanding human speech. He turned to the human female pup, still not quite believing that she can understand, and asked "What did he say?"

Jade giggled and nodded her head then replied to the other wolf "he said he's sorry for his clumsyness" She then stood up and looked over at the black wolfess and took cautios steps twoards her.

Ember studied the other wolf then stood by jade until she lowered her shoulder and allowed the gurl pup to get on her. She huffed softly then started out of the cave and looked back at Xinal "You'd better keep up, i dont want you getting lost ok?" Her tone was quick and serious.

Xinal nodded moving padding forward and came to a halt beside her. Glancing back at his cargo making sure that he was stable enough, he barked to the young human girl pup, "You guys better hold on tight. And tell the pup on my back to hold on as well."

A black boot stomped angrily at the pawprint of a wolf, sending snow flakes everywhich way. "Where the hell?!" He stopped to glance at his partner who responded, "Maybe the wolf got him."

"What would a freaking mutt do with a boy?!" He shouted with outrage, "Hold him for ransom? For lunch?" He fired his gun into a nearby bush. "What rotten luck we have!"

Jade grabbed Emeber's scruff and heaved herself up and quickly settled her balanced and stroked Ember's neck calmingly and nodded at Xinal, then whispered to Jake "You better hold on tight" She cuffed her fingers around Ember's thick neck fur and waited for the maybe sudden lunge of the femme wolf.

Ember looked at Kake, slightly checking his seat then looked to the west, away from the nearing humans "Ok, lets go" She broke into a brisk trot and headed down the way she had appeared to the gurl. She paced her strides to make the journey as comfortable as she could to the human pup. She looked back and smiled at Xinal who was keeping up rather well and kept her way, heading southwest now. "were not too far from our destination" She said softly.

Xinal ran forward alongside Ember, keeping his pace to match hers, stride for stride. His beath gasping as he felt the weight of the child behind him with every step.

Jack turned to look at Jade and nodded in reply. Then he paused realizing something. "You u-understan-d-d wolves?"

Jade looked over at Jake and nodded slowly ''yea.. please dont be afraid.." Timid smile.

Ember smiled softly at Xinal and eased her strides as they went into a deeper part off the forest. Ember lowered her head as they neared an abandoned summer den, dig enuff for them and slowly halted. "here.. thay cant follow our trail in here, too hard for them" She let the gurl get off her and wagged her tail slowly.

Xinal halted next to Ember, his legs falling our from under him from the weight of carrying the boy. Sending snow everywhich way, his head buried as the momentum brought his whole body down.

Jack looked at Xinal, slowly and feebly getting off falling to his knees beside him. "Hey... are you alright?" He asked trying his best with his numb hands to shovel the snow that buried Xinal's head. Xinal's ears popped out of the ground suddenly, followed by his nose.

Ember gasped as she saw the male fall. She softly nugded Xinal around then licked the male's head, softly breathing light heat on him "hey.. get up kid.." She nipped his scruff and dragged him out of the snow and onto the interior of the den and roughly nuzzled him "comon, wake up" She looked back at Jade and told her to keep the boy warm.

Jade put a spare, warm and dry jacket over his shoulders and sat him down, away from Xinal "hey it's ok, she can help him get better" She whispered to Jake then looked back at Ember and Xinal, then huged Jake, keeping him warm with her body heat.

Xinal felt teeth grasp his scruff and pull him out of the snow and brought into a cave. He felt heat warm him and he opened his eyes. He shook his head. "Sorry, I'm just not used to carrying that much weight."

Jack looked up thanking Jade before he stood up on weak legs.

Ember smiled at him and licked his snout again, softly whispering in his ear "I understand" She smiled nudged him to his feet and stood him upright, licking the snow off his coat "you doing better now?" She asked him softly, glancing into his eyes.
