Hey Kenidie's not a Kiona Clone!! At least, I tried hard not to make her a Kiona clone... But she has distinct marks too, though I've changed them before. But I still stand by what I said before: Some people could DEFINETLY use this.

Actually, she has front leg markings that look EXACTLY like Mindy's. You changed them after I posted my reply to the Red Faces topic.

And Kiona DOES deserve her own topic. I cant stand seeing characters drawn with incorrect markings.

Can we please lay off the whole paranoia about Cat accusing anyone of copying markings? It was a general statement, if she was accusing anyone you'd most likely know. We don't need 9281716702760359607 replies saying "my cahracter has original markings!!!" when people are trying to get through the ***** topic and actually learn. Not to mention it makes you look even more suspicious when you want to look "innocent" :roll:

... i didnt say that we make tutorials becuase we think our charecter is "oh so fabulous and populer" and i didint say my charecters were populer..tutorials arnt made for that reason,if they are they are pointless
it would be nice for people to be able to look at the tutuorials when doing art trades and such so they can look at peoples charecters to get the markings right

well im going to start a topic anyway for everyones tutuorials so that the forums arnt blogged up with billions for every character

I have to agree with Celestial that comment was very rude. Some of us want to make tutorials because we care that our characters are drawn CORRECTLY! Plus alot of people would find it helpful I am sure. It really doesn't matter who's cahracter is popular and who isn't My characters are definately not popular and I don't really care! :roll:

since i nicely asked you about it you could have repiled a bit more tactically

There are not a kajillion and a half Kiona clones out there because all of them are different in some way!!! It simply their version of the red faced pup! I can understand if someone steals your art and calls it their character but still.. the world is not goin to copy Kiona just because you think she is sooo popular and everyone loves her. I like her but I am not gonna steal your art and copy her markings kay?

People, stop. I'm not accusing anyone out by name of stealing Kiona. I'm not accusing anyone out by name of copying Kiona. I don't "think" she's popular, I KNOW she's popular, because people think she's an official character for God's sake, and are too absent-minded to remind themselves "that pup didn't HAVE a name."

There ARE TONS of "red-faced pup" versions, no, not all of them are like Kiona at all, but plenty of them ARE, so that makes THIS tutorial important. So more people are reminded of who she is. I have a specific way of drawing her. Plenty of people still copy my art or "reference" off it, I'd have thought that they'd know Kiona's markings by now, seeing as she's the one I draw MOST, but apparently not.

So y'all can stop saying "HEY, MY CHARACTER ISN'T ANYTHING LIKE KIONA" because if I don't already know that, I'm only going to assume you're lying and throwing a hairy fit over this because I "found you out." Now, STOP. Get this topic locked, and I'm only gonna post another one and those who commented here will be requested to have their comments deleted next time. Reminder: This is important.

Good idea, Kiona. Everyone wishing to draw Kiona (for whatever reason) should see this topic. Those 'little details' are what seperates Kiona from any other red-faced fan character.

If I ever want/need to draw Kiona, I'll come straight here.
