You don't think that this movies is all "Whaaaaaa?" I bet it won't make any sense.

must you rant and put down all my interests. ALL of your comments sound the same. that sounds stupid, ewww it looks boring, it was the worst movie i've seen, blah, blah blah, blah. are you positive towards ANYTHING, becuase you come off as a very miserable person to me...just an opinion, now why dont you go flame that comment too now, huh? personally, it SATISFIES the age group this ORIGINALLY was made for ( aka: around the ages 4-9). the movie has to be simple enough for families with small children to keep up with AND has to be cute so parents will want to got take thier kids to the movie.

A good family movie must be simple enough for children, but have enough depth beyond the cuteness for adults (Balto for example). Beverly hills Chihuahua looks like something that young children may enjoy, but will drive adults absolutely insane. Also, I take a critical approach to movies. Some of the movies people say they like are poorly made from a critical standpoint, they are just too blinded by the flash of it all to notice. In other words, it takes more than just explosions and special effects to satisfy my cinematic needs. I know that people think guys who view movies critically can't have fun, but it makes the good movies that much better. Is THAT substancial enough not to be flaming?

well i have to say im impressed that you didnt get all angry when i got sarcastic with ya, very impressive. even though i can SEE what what youre trying to say, i still disagree mosty and think that most parents of younger kids in that age group who go to see it will come out and say it was cute. after all, GEORGE LOPEZ does papi's voice so its ought to be hilarious.

I just explained everything in my previous post in a mostly civilized fashion. I'm not negative, I'm critical. Also, If you read that post, you would know that I think that how "adorable" a movie is doesn't raise its cinematic merit.

Another thing about me is that I like to participate in civilized debates. A friendly argument if you will. Sometimes, the best way initiate one is to say something slightly off-color. The pattern goes like this: I say something to oppose an opinion I don't quite agree with. Then, the person fires back. If their counter argument is well supported, I'll find a few holes in it, and point them out in another well-supported response. However, if the person's counter-argument poorly constructed or based on shallow logic, I'll retaliate with a slightly harsher response to invite the other person to step their game up.

I hope that explained some things.

ohh sounds painful, digging holes in my opinion of the movie adorable chihuahua movie will you? critical you may be, but the movie critics and ratings of movies AREN'T alwys everything you know.....for example. a movie which ended up getting 4 stars i may not really enjoy as a movie which only got 2 stars, i may LOVE! it all depends on your attitude when you set out to go see a certian movie. as a bad attitude towards a movie may make you hate it more while a positive attitude may make you love it (allowing yo to be blind to any weak spots throughout the film)

Sorry to be a little bossy, but can you guys pm each other about this "fight"? I don't want a flame here and then have the topic locked or deleted... please settle it between yourselves... Here I just wanna talk about the movie, not make this another flame topic.
