Yeah, the ending was perfect, it should be left the way it is.

not really I think that Balto still needed to find where he belonged but Balto some how knew aleu wasn't coming back.

I thought it was really sad when Balto had to say good bye to Alue.... After all in his eyes Alue is his "baby girl" :)

I think the "goodbye, daughter" suited the scene very well. I wouldn't change that quote, honestly!

Hmmm, well, I think he should have said "Goodbye Aleu." instead of 'goobye daughter.' The daughter part was a little too dramatic. After all, would you think that up if you were saying goodbye to your girl? It would be more natural to say your daughter's name. But it was touching, especially when Balto started to cry.

Who ever said that Balto was crying after he said, "Good-bye, daughter...", I think should see the scene over again. I didn't see Balto cry as he said his farewell.
There is a tear in the corner of Balto's Eye. I origimally thought Balto should have howled back to Aleu, But Togo and The Others are right it would have messed up the touching "Good-Bye Daughter." line.

Yeah, I noticed the tear as well. And howling would have made the scene majestic but not touching, so I think it was a fine part :D

Pretty wierd how they jumble up the howling into the more non-spiritual places. For some reason, I think that wolfquest missed some expression, there were gaps.

LOL good point, there were gaps and then some LOL. WQ leaves much to be desired. As far as how he said goodby I thought about it, and I wouldn't change it.
