I can't get into these games. It's not because of the violence, I just can't get immersed in the gameplay. However, I do respect the fact that they are extremely polished and well-made games.

GTA 4 is really amazing, but sadly, it's just for PS3 and XBOX 360, isn't it? I think I will wait it until it comes in PC console.

One would WOW!!!, I just played GTA4 today for the first time, simply amazing. Its cool to see rag-doll physics in a GTA game. I might have to go get an Xbox 360 now.

Here's something I posted on another forum:

See....I view this "realism" as a problem. Past GTA games have utilized unrealistic realism, if you can understand what I mean. They threw your character into a realistic environment with unrealistic elements. And that's what made it fun. Someone already said "sandbox", and I agree that that plays a major role. Thing is though, GTA4 feels like just a plain cardboard box that isn't worth exploring. Even though the game focuses on player freedom, I feel even more restricted. City, city, city, city, city, and city gets a little boring.

I'm going to use San Andreas' countryside for an example of much freedom here. You can take a car from Los Santos all the way to Angel Pine, grab a dirt bike, and explore the countryside. There's even an expansive desert. And three DISTINCT cities. GTA4's cities look the same.

The multiplayer is very nice and innovative, but does not make up for the single player, in my opinion.

I've seen this said by someone before, and I agree with it - GTA4 is a step backwards from San Andreas. Less weapons, less cars, less fun, less freedom is to be found in GTA4. Rent it first.

GTA IV is the best one i played, the music is hot, the subways are good to ride, and i love racing there. near to perfection (9.8) score
