Wow..O_o This is weird, but kind off a good weird. Then the movie we all hate, is having a little more "good" attention.

Wahey good to know that a Balto movie won an award, knowing that ,akes me feel a little bit better about WQ for some reason

That is true. I will also agree that it's not exactly a strong film, but I think it's an honor well deserved.


No, there's nothing wrong with you, Togo. I agree - that is rather strange. Sure, WQ wasn't the best piece of animation to follow the animation and beauty of the original, but at least it got some recognition! Why can't we all just be grateful to have a Balto movie win an award for goodness sake? *steams*


. . . sigh . . . That, also, is unfortunately true . . . it was very tough competition between a 2D animated film loosely based on the true story of a hero and a 3D animated film that was just . . . WOW.

I just can't find a good enough response for that.

Personally, I originally had a hatred for WQ (mainly for the inconsistencies to the original) but the more I watched it, the more I began to admire it for what it is. Some of you guys may not like it, but still, like us, you remain Balto fans.

Maybe I made a mistake by spreading this bit of happy cheer about the first Balto sequel . . . I at least thought it was a good thing for the balto franschise; why can't everyone else be the same way?

I too love the film, it does have some very good points and, actually, I think it deserved an award. Why should the first Balto film get all the attention? Sequels got to have some love too. I mean, as bad as the animation was, the creaters, writers, producers (ect) put a lot of time and hard work into it! And critising it is like saying that they did a horrible job, which is very disrespectful.



You do know that not everyone here hates it, right?

Alls I've got to say is that I liked WQ a lot more than WoC, and I think that though it is far from being the best movie in the world, it does deserve a little more recognition.

Wow, well that's a turn up! I must say WQ is the last Balto movie I expected to get an award.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons WoC was made...I wish Universal would put "Award winning" on the boxes for WQ...that's really all people need to see to be interested, they don't much care which award and WQ must have done something right as loads of people bought it.

I have to admit that I saw WQ before Balto 1 and I did like it, not totally impressed at all by the animation but it was bearable...I still maintain that WQ would've been better as a stand-alone movie and not a sequel =/ WQ could've an awesome movie if they'd spent more money on it, it's a shame really.

Though like Juuchan said, at least it's a Balto movie and it got an award!! 8D
