Thanks for the reply Jersey and sorry about my forced assumption on the words you used, I already talked about your earlier use of the word "irrelevant" and saying you deemed these sort of things as a waste of time was unfair. I can see the point you made and 'yay' I agree with you on saying that the posts seem to be given as questions that people want truthful answers to. Although I've never given much thought into it, as I always viewed people doing these topics as discussions and not seemingly asking for questions to be answered. However I think it's fair to say that a lot of these threads when they're first started may appear like this only accidently I don't think most people would really be looking to believe that what they're writing is actually as factual questions, so some of it may be down to poor wording on the writers behalf to make it seem more like a question then just a fun little open debate that I believe they're supposed to be. Just thought I'd clear up what I believed in the point of these topics and not seeing them as peeps asking for help as you are right in saying that correction is indeed not flaming so no offence intended in my earlier post mate.

i don't remember where, but i know that i read somewhere that the real balto was born in 1923, so i think he'd be 2, almost three years old in the movie. scientists say that the first two years of a dogs life are actually equal to 25 human years (not 14) and then the rest are like three or four years each or something like that. and he seems like he'd be 25 as a human, so i think he's 2.

Three would be a good guess for the cartoon, possibly four for the real life Balto... not sure

I'm a little bit confused, everyone keeps putting on extra years to his age in b3, when his age should be about the same in both b2 and b3. Aleu is the same age as her brother, Kodiak but the time when they had each of their different adventures was not years in advance, maybe only a few months or less or more. I would have to say, with all the facts and stuff that he's about 2 in the first movie, 2 and a half in the second and on the verge of turning three in the third movie....

His age was probably three, but might have been six. There are two differing and conflicting historical accounts, depending upon which source you stick to. So, to everyone here...he was not four at the time...he was not seven at the time...not in 1925. Jerrrrrrrrrrrrrseeeeeyyyyyyyyy... I was having a guess within the range for the real life Balto! Really I have no clue, so I gave a wild guess. Which probably sucked. And this thread is mainly geared at guessing the cartoon Balto's age, so I gave guesses for both. ...may as well rephrase in any case Cartoon: 3 Real life: ? (wild guess 4)

...may as well rephrase in any case Cartoon: 3 Real life: ? (wild guess 4) True. However, some people who posted in this topic, before I did, mentioned the real Balto and were wondering about his age, which is what drew me to this topic, my dear Cobalt. ....oh (yay im dear )
