I have a black Wacom Bamboo. I love working on it, but coloring the pictures are a little bit of a pain since my drawings on it are really sketchy and I'm too lazy to clean it up before coloring it. Not too many things I find wrong with it except that its pretty small and when I draw on it I tend to go off the touch screen and draw on the other parts of the tablet. eyebrow.gif I think it came with Corel Painter Essentials and Photoshop Elements 5.o but I dont use eitiher program xD Paint is still pretty convientient. I got mine for around $100 off eBay >.< Not as much as I was told by a friend who has one. I think hers is a different model though. But yeah, tablets definately make drawing on a computer easier, especially if you're use to traditional drawing Love.gif

Yeah, I've got one. It's a Nisis one XD I don't have enough money for a Wacom one though when I do have some spare money...well, if I ever get any spare money I'd invest in a Wacom one.

Mine is good and when I have used it it's been awesome but it seems to have a problem, sometimes randomly the cursor on the screen will shake about when the stylus is perfectly still D< Makes drawing any line impossible.

Same here, except I use a different program. Works great! Lots of fun!

I myself use a WACOM Intuos3 12" x 12" tablet. Used to have the old 6" x 11" WACOM Bamboo, but the Bamboo series is constructed with only 512 pressure levels while the Intuos3 series have 1024 pressure levels. Great benefit to have- especially when setting a clipping path and vectoring images in Adobe Illustrator. On the plus side, the Intuos is built much more rigid than the Bamboos too, meaning that the pen hasn't stopped working and didn't warp the pressure pad when I literally passed out on it one night.

I'd really like a Wacom tablet :D I might buy one, because they look really helpful. I have a question though; Does the computer screen show up on the Wacom tablet's? Or do you just draw on the Wacom tablet, and still look at the computer screen?
If you're confused then just forget about it.

You draw on the tablet and it shows on the computer screen. You don't see the drawing on the tablet its self.

Actually... no.
There is a tablet with display screen, and it's the Wacom Cintiq. -> http://www.oman3d.com/uploaded_images/w ... 771814.jpg
But I'd advice not buying it, it costs over 3000$, and especially if you're a beginner, then its not worth. Because I can see you after 2 months selling it on eBay for the half of the original price. It's made for professional artists, who already have enough experience to use a tablet. And of course with money.

I'd say to buy a small size, just for the beginning, so you can get used with it and later a bigger and so on. ;D

But meh, people nowadays like to buy expensive stuff without realizing the futile part of it.
