It shouldn't really matter, since they're both delicious once you cook them. Lol

I say the chicken, because the egg would need to be cared for.

The egg. But Alpine is right. Mmm. Grilled chicken smothered in honey mustard, wrapped in lettuce, topped with a tomato and sandwiched between bread. Meh. Now I want Perkins. >>

i think the chicken for these reasons (by the way im not religeous) 1. in the bible it says that the creatures were made on the ____day not the eggs were 2. an egg needs the warmth of its mother to hatch. 3. it needs a rooster to hatch an egg that actually turns into a chicken. 4. and anyway how the hell do you know my opinion is that it was the chicken but it could be the egg as well. Scientifically speaking, the egg appeared way before the first chicken. The chicken was a result of a genetical mutation from an avian reptile/beast, and we all know that these genes do not mutate without human influence once born.
Thus, the egg came first.

Well, we can either try to think that the dinosaur poofed out of air and immediately began terrorizing things and then over millions of years it evolved into a chicken.... Or we can beleive the truth, which is the chicken came first, of course. God didn't lay an egg.

I think the egg was first. BUT only in connection with this premise: There had to be another animal, apparently bird-like, with similar physical features as the chicken. This specific animal laid the EGG and the newborn creature was the CHICKEN. I suppose you could connect this view with the evolution theory, which implicates mutations. This means that it is possible that the younger generation in a constantly changing world can differ, for example in it's physical aspect, from it's parents. But this is only my personal view, I am entirely open to new approaches. Greetings!
