The last episode of GDW was wierd. Jerome didn't even die in the manga and Hougen got shot in the head by a policemen and in episode 6 (I'm not sure I forgot already) Gin didn't seem to care that Sakura was dead!! She's his mate!
The last episode seemed kind of rushed. Like the animators wanted to get it over with quickly. In GNG they weren't afraid to show heads getting cut off but in GDW they seemed kinda squimish. The writers that is. Like they thought little kids were going to watch it. But why make Jerome die?! Why couldn't they have made it more like the manga and put Ron, Sniper, Wilson and Hakuro in, like the author did?
Its just wierd that Gin didn't even seem to care that Sakura was dead, it was like "Oh my gosh Sakura's dead?! Oh well I don't care."
I love the show beyond words but some parts I find confusing and... odd.
Hougen should have been killed by the battouga. But I think the stupid writers wanted to use time but failed badly. I wish they would make a remake of the last episode and not be so squimish!
It was an awesome show and the last episode didn't even end like the manga! And they acted as though Sniper was dead and forgot to add him in.
If they had made the episodes of GNG shorter than there would be more. I mean those episodes are l
ooong.
I am not bashing GDW by saying this but it suddenly dawned on me that the last episode was odd while I was watching the show for the millionth time.
