I have to disagree as well.
It's not off topic at all, it's still going on about the "necessity" of moderators. Which as a reply, I will say that we definitely don't need any more. There are enough mods at this moment, probably more than it has to, since half of the staff is inactive.
I have to agree with what Dan said a page ago; the site needs to return to the basis. Less mods, and at least those people who are able to keep up the work.

I never denied that, I just lack time to do the necessary changes. And some of the mods say they are enough, even though I also have the impression it's not the case (maybe enough mods on the list, but probably not on the active side) But I will remove the inactive mods from the list and hire new ones, yes.


Oh yes, as if it was possible on the web to know the true age of someone


I didn't know why you left, and I even only found recently that you left, so...How am I supposed to react if I don't know what happens?


Well I haven't got any report about problems recently (the only one was the fanart deletion which wouldn't work, but I've corrected it now)
I'll probably add a "submit a bug" section, because most people don't send me a message when they encounter a bug.

That doesn't change the fact that no one really knows if someone tell his/her true age or not.
I'm not basing my opinion on AGE, but on other criterions (like, the way you write, if you have been banned already, if you have ideas for the site, etc...)


It seems I have missed that question.
Although, I should remind you something : I am the only one who can program the site (and I have other things to do than just the site - I already spend most of my free time on it...), and I'm doing this for free.
And you wouldn't want to see my to-do list...And if I put all priority on only the bugs, nothing will ever advance.

When I make a change on the site, I'm not always aware that it can break something else, which is probably what happend for the covers not displaying and the link for offline reading.
As for the fanfics cut into several pages, this is VERY difficult to do it, because this is HTML code and there can be MANY different sources (some of them, Word for example, add so many useless tags to their HTML, that it can display entire pages of nothing like you experienced.) I'll try to figure out possibilites to correct this, but it's not as easy as pushing a button.

I will probably add a "bug report" page soon, because I can't correct bugs I'm not aware of.

I believe we all are (and should) be aware that you have lots to do and are in fact providing us with this site by offering up your freetime, and we are grateful for that

However an option for reporting bugs, such that you could recieve these reports in an "ordered little box" so to say, would be very good. Sometimes you don't catch or read some notices about bugs, and it would simply make life more efficient and easier.

Yea yea, that's why I wanted to be a mod. Because I was EVRERY DAY on TLKS. And also, my fan fic isn't in my gallery too...and it's almost like that- others have got new and new fan fics in their galleries and I haven't got one fan fic what I wrote before a month. (fan fic on BS)

I've corrected the covers and the link to offline reading. As for cutting the text and adding another text editor, this is a much longer task.


That's another problem; and I have an idea to solve this, at least partly. Some members will be able to post their content (fanart, fanfics...) and they will be automatically added to the site, and only checked later by the mods. But not everyone, only "trustful" members. The problem is to define what is being trustful, and I will work on that, but this will take some (long) time.

Erm, to be honest, I have been active, both on the roleplaying forums moving topics that didn't belong there to their correct sections, and on the shout boxes as well, helping decrease the load there, whenever I can. True, there are about a page of old topics that need to be deleted, and the only reason they haven't been just yet is because I made a mistake when I deleted a topic last time, one that had had a not put on it with a valid reason as to why it had been inactive and should not be deleted. I've been trying to wait until I definitely had enough time to go through and get rid of the old roleplays without missing another note like that.

But I do agree with this point.
