This movie has always been one of my favorites. I love nearly everything about it. I thought it was so sad to see all those poor people wait for deaths in the icy waters. I sometimes shudder at some of the images

IMHO it's not a great movie. It's too long, too talky and I couldn't believe in the performances by both leads to be honest. The most overated film of the 90's to be honest.

definatly one of my top five films. its a 12 but ive been watching it since i was 2! lol!

call me sick, but i find the actual sinking one of the best parts. i absolutely love the thrid class party, as the music is foot-tapping to me, being part irish! 5 star, and im a kate winslet fan.

I kind of agree. I find the whole love story rather unrealistic and sappy. The best thing about this film is that James Cameron tried to make the ship look exactly as it did back in 1912. You've gotta give him credit for his re-creation of the staircase.

Otherwise, I don't see what's so great about it. Maybe it's because I have a heart of steel. :roll:
