its not like that in real life.

in real life we dont always get what, who or where we want. sometimes, we just have to take life as it comes, just keeping going with your head down and mouth shut. we've all had our fair share of disapointments. most films with happy endings are for young children, and i understand that companies dont want to be sued for giving those children nightmares. but it teaches them nothing of the world. some children grow up thinking that life is all a big fairytale and they will always end up happy and get what they want. but then they enter the big wide world and the shock of finding out this is not the case hits them like a slap in the face.

yes, i am having a moan.

*sighs*

i just find myself getting jealous when everything turns out fine for the charecters in films and tv programs and not in my life.

some films are out numbered by good points to make you think about the happy ending, such as balto. but a film such as amagedon or a program such as doctor who when the main charecter(s) have to make a sacrifice is more appealing to me. like ive repeated in my little complaint above, life isnt perfect...

If you want a movie that depicts everyday, real-life, disappointing scenarios, pro-tip; just live, don't watch movies, don't escape, just continually reflect upon how terrible life, age for a little while and die.

That or watch more Coen Brothers.

What about The Big Lebowski?

"The Dude abides".

To which I should have added "Fargo and No Country For Oldmen".

Where have you been all of my life, RagingBalto?
