"Hi Starpath," Sonya said to the only dog in the group she knew. She looked around at the others, a little over-whelmed. "I'm Sonya." She looked to the balck Schipperke. "I'd love it if you could show me around." She looked to the rest if them. "But I'd like to know who all of you are first."
Rose decided to check on Sonya. She wanted to get going to town and be over with it. She looked inside, but Sonya was no where to ne found. She went to the driveway and found Sonya's scent. "Oh no! I hope Sadie hasn't gotten to that poor dog yet."
Sadie stopped walking and glared at the group of dogs. How dare they steal her chance to meet the husky first. They would pay, big time. but that would be later. For now, she sat down behind a dumster, close enough to hear their convesation.

Turbojet nodded. "All right!" He kind of bowed and said, "Turbojet at your service. I'm a very proud stray German Shepherd." He looked at Dana. "Hey, Dana, how's it going? Have you captured Warren yet?"

XD Sorry I'm late.
Out in the fields Cattle walked, creatig a miny stampede by the big number they were, not counting the tiny calves that had yet to be born. Seeing it as a short cut, Mater decided to pass through town. He was known as a good rancher, yet a bit scary to those unknown. Whistling, he comanded the dogs to herd them toward that direction. May of the townsfolk didn't mind, Mater always did this little short cut. Besides, he had some bills to pay. An australian dingo mix panted as she followed on one of the sides, having her tongue out from all the trotting in this heat. "And trot and trot and trot and trot." She thought over and over while trying to ignore the itch a newly made cut on her neck was causing. Though it wasn't deep, it still stung.
Tyson however kept his mind on the cattle, making sure they wouldn't stray off to eat some grass. He saw as a small girl watched from the side walked, and smiled a bit, before scaring a cattle back into the herd as it was to stop to eat. He walked proudly on the side with his owner as he rode a horse comfortably. However, it was all that excerise that made him more durable, and unlike other dogs, he could still outrun any two year old.

Starpath's tail flicked. That was it! Turbojet.... He was one crazy dog. Although, he was fast. She wondered if she'd forget his name again. Then she looked back at Sonya. "you know me," she said, "but for anyone who doesn't, I think you all know me though, I'm Starpath."

"Thanks guys," Sonya said smiley. "I'd love to go on a tour right now, but I promised Rose that she would take me. Technically, I'm not supposed to be here right now." She looked down feeling guilty. "But I could explain it all to her later... and Rose is an understanding dog... and she'll catch up soon enough." She looked back at Aleesha and Duke. "Let's go."
Sadie watched Kaylee walk of in that cocky attitude she always seemed to have. With her head held up high, Sadie walked toward the group. "But why go with these mutts," Sadie said to Sonya as she approached, "when you can get a tour from me?" She smiled her award-winning grin and flattered her eyelashes. "I'm Sadie."
"Get away from her Sadie," Rose yelled. She had finally arrived in town just in time.
"Well, well, well. Who do we have here?" Sadie asked. "The redneck country girl has wandered into town." She walked up to Rose. "Go back to your horses Cowgirl." And with that, Sadie walked away, swishing her tail. Sonn, she found Kaylee. "Hey!" she yelled at her. She run up beside Kaylee to stop her in her tracks. She got right up in her face. "Who do you think you are?!"

"See ya," Sonya called after Duke. She looked after Sadie. Sonya didn't want to make trouble. She made a mental not to stay out of Sadie's path from now on.
"Of course you can come with us," Rose told Aleesha. It was amazing how fast Sonya seemed to be fitting in. Rose never made friends, or almost friends, this fast. Though, she had stayed at the ranch most of the time. Maybe Sadie had a point, if only a small one. "Let's start soon. I don't want to stay out too late. Katie wouldn't be happy with us if we came home after dark. The three dogs walked away from the group to begin the tour.
"You have no right," Sadie tried to say calmly, but her temper was rising. "I own this town and all the dogs in it, inluding you!" She glared at Kaylee. "You would crumble under all the responsibility I have. You shouldn't get your hoped up, pup. You'll just disappoint yourself more."

Sonya explained. "I used to live in Alaske and race. But than my musher got sick and died a few days ago. She gave me to Katie, though. They were cousins and best freinds. But I'm not too sure about the country. It's not as hot as other places, but it's definately not Alaska."
Sadie got low to the groud. "I wouldn't say such things if I were you." She growled, showing her pearly white teeth. "I'm glad to say my bite," she snapped her teeth close to Kaylee's chin, "is worse than my bark." She stood up again. "I'd watch my back if I were you." Sadie trotted away, perfectly happy. She thought she got her point across very nicely.

"I'm not scared of you," Sadie said hoarsly. She bit Kaylee's paw that was once on her shoulder. She wasn't lying when she said she had a sharp bit. Hers was one of the most painful in town. Kaylee had no choice to move her paws. Sadie wasted no time in pinning Kaylee down, one paw on her throat, the other on her chest, out of Kaylee's mouth's reach. "Don't mess with the queen." she snarled.
Sonya laughed. "Sled racing is the most fun I have ever had. The thrill of crossing the finish line is amazing!" She caught the look of saddness on Rose's face. "But the country life is fin too."
Rose smiled at her. "I know you loved racing. You miss it, don't you?"
"Of course!" Sonya said. "I was bred for the race and cold. I'm going to miss Alaska."
