I'm neutral. His voice was annoying, but he was an alright character. He reminds me somewhat of Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio, 'cept Jiminy Cricket was way better.

Meh, I love Muru . . . and his voice.

Why else would I write the first Muru-centric fic on Balto Source, right?

I mean, sure his character is very minor, but he does serve a purpose - to help lead Aleu towards the wolf pack she's destined to lead. Why else would he hint on all of those things about wolves to her? (Please don't make me quote things . . . I'm working on a WQ transcript for BS, so I can quote the characters up to the part where the wolf trio attacks Balto and Aleu . . . it's a loooooong story, trust me.) Besides, Aleu was denying her wolf heritage, and I guess Muru only helped her realize that the wolf in her is actually something she should be proud of, not ashamed.

And . . . I love his songs. Sure, his singing voice doesn't suit him so much, but I thought it just added more to his mysterious and spiritual personality. But in the end, he's just a normal mouse . . . who happens to know a lot about spirit guides and the such . . . and howling wolves.

LOL.

But seriously, I must be the number one Muru fan . . . (I need to make sigs and banners for him! Kyaaaaa.)

Every one knows what my opinion on that little...creature is.... I hate everything about that mouse, and I wish that Aleu would have just done what loads of people were willing her to do and eat him instead of growling at him!

I have a very positive opinion about the little mouse. Even though most people don't like him and how he adds to the whole spiritual and mystic feeling of the movie, we can't run from the fact that Wolf's Quest is all about that, and Muru does his job very well. Although I didn't like his main song (Who You Are), I love it's prelude, Muru's Chant, and I think that was one of the few well-done songs from this movie (Even though I'm sure the whole Balto series would have done much better without any of it). His singing on that part is somewhat sweet and heart-warming, and I like the spiritual feel of the lyrics. And really, I don't think that singing is all that bad when singing seens to be an intrinsic characteristic of one character's persona, which I would deem to be the case with Muru.

In the end, I was very pleased with the character's overall performance. I just wished they had done his main song a little bit better... or removed it and made him talk his point instead of singing it.

Muru just do that everybody undrestands the misteryand where should Alue do, and as a guide- spiri he was fine
