The "Interview Me/Interview US" topic sparked it all, I wouldn't remove them, as they actually had meaningful replies. Otherwise the authors would be bombarded with questions in PMs.

However, the copycats must go. It's spamming the forums.

Which I thought Kari, UK, myself and others agreed was better and more intelligent than posting some egomaniacal self-promotional topic by those individuals.

Nah...in the opinion of many, all of them must go.

Promotion is extremely hard to do without the topics and still is with them. We need to be able to get our stuff out there without terrible spam.

Perhaps one topic with authors signing up to be able to answer questions stuff?
