Now... on to matters, shall we? You all should be aware of the rules, and NO moderator gives out a ban unless first giving out some form of a warning. New rules are instated because the MAJORITY of the population decide it best -- NOT because steet woke up one morning and decided to make your lives miserable. :] And if there is a matter about your ban you wish to discuss, by all means, that is what the Banned Box is for. It IS possible that you MAY HAVE been mistaken for the culprit, and if you prove your case well, you will be released. Thus is the function of settling your differences in a civilized and orderly manner.

Let not your personal feelings get in the way, but if one is to take umbrage to the actions or words of a moderator, then they simply have to copy it down and paste it in a PM Complaint. You will need this evidence, as it is crucial to proving your case. Words and claims will only get you nowhere, but once you have that evidence, at least we'll know just exactly what we're doing wrong.

I knew very well how I was addressing the mods. With a complete lack of respect, just as some of them have been treating us.

If that is the case, tell us the names of said mods so we can put an end to it. With all these accusations, and absolutely no proof, how are we supposed to react?

I think, while Cyber may have been out of line in his use of language, he has a firm point. Not all of the mods do an excellent job of moderating the site. A lot goes on in the site that shouldn't happen - and that is besides the point of banning those who shouldn't and allowing those who should who get off scott free.

1) Profiles. I've seen way too much art theft going on. Whether it is official art or by those who do art for a living. I have not once seen on either shoutbox warnings given to those with such images by the moderators. In fact the only times I have seen warnings given was from yours truly after spotting art that was done by friends of mine. Not to mention the often cases of paint-overs of official images - which are also illegal under copyright law.

2) Images. Steet himself has said that the images that are simply paint overs deny the point of the images gallery, and are utterly lacking in creativity. I must ask why this is allowed, as on other sites and by laws, paint-overs or renders are considered illegal.

3) Lion King forum. It concerns me that that particular forum is largely unmoderated. For example, there is a thread which asks "The Lion King, overrated?" - which could easily turn into a flame war - is not locked.

4) Maturity in times when maturity is needed, no, required. This is a kid's site, remember, and moderators who need to be mature when situations call for it set examples for the younger members.

In other words, if all of the moderators were doing their jobs as they should, you would have no need to even pay heed to those who are complaining. But the thing is there is a large quantity of members who do not like how certain things are being done... If every single moderator was doing his or her job well - or even adequately - these would be nonissues, simply for the reason that they would not exist. Yes, no moderator can be on the site 24/7, it's understandable - utterly. But to be a mod is to know and take the responsibility that comes with the duty, which is for the good of the site and community. It means to do your job while you are on site, to be mature, to be leaders of the site, to be role models. Yes, I am afraid to say it, but being a moderator is like being a parent... Especially on this site, which is largely populated by children.

Now you know why they don't "respect" you. You go around saying crap like that, along with the so called "others". Just stating an opinion, and al though it may seem harsh, if you go around saying that sort of crap, they won't really give a dang about you. I've been a mod on several sites, and I've seen this happen before with other members.

People aren't banned for no reason. They're banned for very good ones. I'm sorry you feel that way about the mods of this site(I'm good friends with most of them). I'd go into my little mini rant on this one, but I'm afraid I shouldn't post it.


No, no we're not. We're trying to see what's behind the "unfair bans", and usually they're very good people once you stop believing rumors. Only some don't do they jobs, but that's very rare. On a site I'm staff on(NTF, Nine tailed fox), we often get yelled at for not doing our jobs. But want to know what usually causes that? Somebody flames us, spams us, we ban them, and they scream their little arses off when we unban them. Isn't that just adorable? -_- No. No it's not. Now, take a look at both sides, before you say that crap.

I'm sick of all the "I'll treat them right when they treat me right!!" "Give them a break!!" "Not doing their job!!!" crap. Making them come to this thread and answer some easily-answered-by-common-sense questions is certainly NOT giving them a break.
