I say both. It's so hard to pick.
because Balto is based on a true story, and Wolf's rain is not. so I cannot compare it.

Well I choose both, both have thir pros and cons, my likes and dislikes of course, I think we know Balto's cons, and well Wolf's rain cons fr me would be: The ending, the semi-naked girl at the castle, having kiddies to die, Blue not reviving (ZOMG SPOILER XD),Chez (get her away from me!) Darcia hitting against a wall and crying like a wako (OMG it scared me), but several things in this show were good, the music, animation, plot, having Jaguara been killed with gore (OMG SPOILER AGAIN) , etc...

Oh I watched Wolf's Rain a while ago and I just finished seeing it for the second time. It's pretty good, so I'll have to say they are the same becuase I don't want to choose just one

For me, it's not hard to choose, Balto is number one, Wolf's Rain wasn't as good.
