CartoonNetwork has gone through some issues, yeah. But you gotta realize that there are tons upon tons of cartoons out there, and a good portion of the 'classical' cartoons have moved to Boomerang. Like most of the Hannah-Barbara cartoons including such titles as The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, and The Yogi-Bear Show. Other shows, like Cow and Chicken and The Powerpuff Girls can also be spotted on Boomerang.

As for the anime, I've wondered about that deal since the '90s. Way back when they'd air the chopped dubs of Voltron, Robotech, Dragon Ball Z, and Sailor Moon - as well as any member of the Gundam franchise. My guess is the copyright agreement lapsed or was renegotiated to such a degree they couldn't continue airing them. That's what happened to Futurama.

Personally, I'd like to see Freakazoid and Road Rovers make a comeback en masse with new episodes - because I can't find them anywhere but Youtube.

But anyway, you can still see a lot of the older stuff - Boomerang and In2TV on Aol.com.

And in any case, don't start the hatin' on CN. They've done a lot of good too. In regards to AdultSwim, they've helped to bring back two shows from cancellation and syndication - Family Guy - which was canceled early on, brought to CN, gained a popularity boost, and Fox took it back; and Futurama - which was canceled like two-three seasons into the series - brought to CN, gained a massive popularity boost (several movies have been in production and one has been released so far being Bender's Big Score) and taken by Comedy Central, with new episodes due to air the 23rd of March.

I'd like to see that too, although I'm not sure of what the new episodes would be like. With the way TV has gone downhill, I worry that they would make a mess of the old shows if they made new eps. Especially Road Rovers.

I agree, though Ben 10 is my favorite show and currently their best show in my opinion, I'm glad its getting a second series. I'd like to see Freakazoid come back, that was so funny! I'd also like to see Megas XLR return for another season, I love that show. I've never seen Wolf's Rain  so I can't give my opininion on that. Of course there is also the one thing I think everyone on this forum probably would like to see as long as it was done right, Balto the series, as long as its the right company making it, I'd love to see that on CN. BTW would anyone be intrested in doing a Ben 10 RP?

The worst thing Cartoon Network did was create "Out of Jimmy's Head". Worst. Show. EVER!!!

Agreed there not any good quality shows any more especially now a days once a show is removed it's not coming back. i Still recall Road Rovers that used to come on Cartoon Network and now the've killed that and replaced it with even worse shows...Thinking there saving money well not really mainly losing more and more popularity. So many want the Old shows back with new seasons and episodes. Road Rovers, Freakazoid etc

*Sigh* I remember when Cartoon Network mainly consisted of Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, etc... :(

Well Cartoonnetwork has at least somewhat redeemed themselves with Ben 10 and Ben 10: Alien Force, those two are like my favorite shows EVER, Alien Force has me hooked from Episode one.

I've read a bit about Alien Force, but I haven't had the chance to see it yet. I'm not sure it'll be as good as Ben 10, which I frankly think went downhill after they gave Gwen powers. Between the fact that her powers are always available without a time limit and the fact that her blunders tend to be positive rather than negative (take that giant energy cobra she generated once, for example)... well, with that and Max's gadgets (which he's awfully free about using in public for someone so secretive- just look at "Divided We Stand"), Ben's pretty much gone from hero to zero. It's like they said in The Incredibles. When everyone's a super, nobody is.

Well that's a diffrence in our oppinion. I think it made them more of a team as oposed to Ben running the show, though you have a point that it should be Ben's show, and I saw the first episode of Alien Force, its actuelly an improvment, the new aliens are amazing and the plot is alright, there is a bit of a mystery which had it not been told on several websites would be an improvment, the biggest improvement is this is suposed to be a group show seeing as the title tends to suggest it more. Anyway, you have to admit its a lot better than theo ther garbage they pass off as shows they've made lately.

True. But another thing that doesn't add up: in the original series, Ben's supposed to keep his identity a secret. So how come Gwen wasn't bothered about flying around on a public becah with that piece of sail and her little wind spell, and Grandpa Max had no problem zipping around with that jet pack on the same beach? It doesn't compute, you know? I mean before the message was that you don't always need powers to be a hero, because Gwen and Max were heroes in their own way. Now it's totally reversed.
