Actually, as people we are destroying the food chain. We tend to over hunt. And anyway, seals aren't even overpopulated sooo...

We have no right to kill them in such a cruel way...I mean even big cats kill their prey in a "clean" way. They kill them quickly through their necks. (I won't go into detail though considering this is a kids site).

Also, considering we have plenty of other ways to kill animals, beating them to death is should not be an option.

It's ridiculous enough killing seal pups... if the babies are killed, there will be a lot less seals.

I love baby seals...
I don't see the point in killing them, how often do you hear "Boy this seal meat is good...?" [Though I don't mind if the natives do it, they use every scrap] people can sure get greedy.
As for fur, yuck. Get a heater or something.
