My thoughs exactly, everyone is commenting and saying that it a good idea and should be down with so and so is going. All jumping ahead of our self yet not thinking of the most important part. How are we going to do is? I think we are all missing that point out.

Bruno or whomever - could you put perhaps a time cut-off for who would be an older members? I'd be interested, but having been here for only almost two years come next month... Well I think you get my drift.

Like Mayahuskee, HydraPhalanx,Huttser,Loz,Nighteyes,Angelfire,sundance,Dark Mountain, Catadventure, Pirkka, Balto678, AniuBlade... garwsh. They all rarely RP anymore. (i unno if its the same sundance your talking about. I hope so.) ect. the list goes on. I miss those days SO much.

Seriously, If we can somehow contact those roleplayers, I'd love you all forever. XD

Oh! I remember making something similar a few years ago, around Christmas (more or less arranging a time for everyone to party on the shoutbox). With some other members we spread it quite nice.
However, quite many of the special guests don't even visit the site anymore. I have quite a few "old" contacts that probably most of you don't remember, but some of the best ones have simply disappeared, whether it be the army, jobs, careers, lives...

I think you should define "old" more Bruno. It's kind of unclear for many what the "least number of years/months" must be.


Six of those I still have contacts with, including me And Loz is still around sometimes. Some to add: Salty (saltashwolf), Psi (psycho), Devil, balto496 (gah! messed up the numbers. But he's the train lover dude). These ones are like really old. Then of course there are many more who joined about a year later or more. And oh of course Silvos! (silverwolf), and ShadowHusky (or whichever of his million names you choose to call him by) and gah... Need some memory rivival.

Good roleplay would be awesome though. I haven't roleplayed anywhere near Balto Source for like...

I've finally got an idea to make something like this possible AND reliable.

I will make an automated system, that will calculate a "trust" rank for each member, according to a selected number of criterions. (age on the site will be one, BUT not the only one)
To make this work, no one will be able to know which is your rank, even mods (except for being able or not to access that restricted part), and I won't give the criterions either. (a bit like Google's algorithm for ranking )
This rank system will be used for other things, such as drawings or fics being able to be displayed on the site BEFORE being validated by the mods (if the member is "trusted").

The bad news is, it will take much time to make something like this. But I think it can work, so I'll do it.

Very good idea for the fanarts and fanfictions, however I'm not so sure about ranking members, it sounds complicated. That of course is ok, but won't it be biased? Although if no one can tell, then I suppose it shouldn't bring about any significant bias.
I didn't really understand one part: How will this affect moderators?

Calm down. There is no reason to be acting up. You may dislike him but others are great friends with him. If you dislike him, ignore him.

NO! ShadowHusky was (and still is...) a male. As for DH, I have her contacts ShadowHusky did his fooling long before you joined. But he was/is definitely male.
