Before I repeat what everyone else has said, why would we ever want to do that anyway? Balto would be even less likely to have anything done with it IF fans owned the rights. There are so many different versions of a B4 that if we wanted to do that it'd never go anywhere. How many animators are on this site? I'd like to bet hardly any and even less willing to work on something as huge as a full movie. How would we ever release a special edition DVD? We have no way of advertising or promoting nevermind producing. Not to mention the huge price tag it'd have, movie companies are used to dealing in very large amounts of money and they would make no exception for a group of fans, I doubt they'd ever even agree to selling it to fans anyway. Consider this: Universal will do absolutely NOTHING unless it brings them in the money. I never said we had to buy the rights for a movie, it was just a discussion ;| You raise a good point, but will Universal release your special edition DVD for you, may I ask? Nothing we can do about that. Dreamworks isn't expected to make anymore 2D movies, so there's a dead end.

Sure, go ahead if you want to. It'd be interesting to see if anything could happen.

Just make sure not to make any deals. We're only seeing if this is a possibility, and it's a slim one as it is.

Haha a very sound point that I felt rather stupid now for not considering. I just read through what was said and thought "Great, lets have a dig" but never stopped to think 'then what?' if we did get the rights (which I know is beyond slim to nill). Well all I know from what Kendell is saying is what he is posting but I back you up, if you think there is a even a small chance your mate can get Nick's attention then go for it but I have a feeling even thought I don't wanna say it that this post might just crumble out with lack of enthusiasm and generally getting nowhere besides speaking about a dream :/
