So I see. Well, thank gawd that the sequels are finished. (I can't say the same with the series, cause I never seen them.)
But I still don't get it. What is it with killing a real good movie produced by Steven Speilburg with sequels. C'mon. Logically, it's a waste of time.. and money. But as you mention that they only lust for the money, that sorta does make sense. But still, it's a waste. Doesn't any one at Universal realize that the quality of the movie is better than the quantity of "Vast" income?
And to be honest.. I don't think they should make any more sequels just to tick people's tempers off.
I don't think you understand. Of course the staff at Universal has always been interested for money, but I don't think that was the main reason behind the sequels (or else, how do you explain they really never marketed them correctly, compared to the Disney ones or the other companies?)
The thing is, it has become even worse and now they're only focused on making everything profitable, with the lowest cost possible.
I'm still wondering what "new" projects they have in mind, because so far the only thing we've seen coming truly from this new staff is the Curious george TV series, which isn't much.
