Why, yes, he has almost COMPLETELY now, but the bad news now- every time he wants to watch ANY of his Balto DVDs, he has to temporarily "rent" them from his parents for nearly $5.00 per SINGLE viewing (they've amassed a total of over $35.00 from him last month ALONE from his already-meager allowance and gift money)!!!!!! pissedoff.gif And he STILL hasn't gotten any of his OTHER merchandise back yet; rumor has it that his parents *Gulps.* BURNT them all "for his own, personal protection from the child mentality-destroyer that is the Balto franchise"!!!!!! cryeyesout.gif Oh, and did I fail to mention that I just saw him for the very first time in just over 8 months just last New Year's Eve (NOT EVEN for Christmas!!!!!!) eyebrow.gif -Charlie. cool.gif

...he has to rent them from his parents for viewing? They could have burnt all the merchandise?

That's just over the top. On many many levels.

This takes the cake of being the oddest thing Ive heard about in while. His parents just dont get lower than this, making their own kid pay to watch his movie. Thats nuts.

Kids do have obessions, I'm obsessed with Ichigo Kurosaki. But I'm not jumping around and acting like a lunatic!!! I have never heard of something this crazy!! He really should control himself, but if I were his parents I'd give him back his Balto DvD so he can watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it, and watch it until it get's sooooooooooooooo boring that he grows out of the habit....

Man, that's wrong on every level I that I can think of; That video bit alone is bad enough. It seems flat-out low to make your brother pay to watch a movie that he bought; why not just let him grow out of it? About the other merchandise and isolating him from everyone, that seems like the definition of unacceptable to me; If I had any Balto merchandise besides the first movie, and anyone even joked about burning it, they'd be lucky if they could still walk after I was done with them  And his parents claimed that Balto is destroying his mind? They need to look in a mirror, and they'll see exactly what is destroying his mind. Was he okay the last time you saw him? I hope things get better for him, and that his parents realize how corrupt they are becoming

Wow, charging a kid to watch something he likes? That is going way over the top, simple as that.
