I thought I posted here, but it was probably in the other thread. Outlaw said a lot that I was going to, so I'm gonna sum it up shortly: not all people with a large quantity of friends are rumor-spreading nasty people. Unfortunately, some are, and that's just them, but there IS a portion that are nice geniune people who just happen to have a lot of friends. I happen to have a rather large group and it tends to be the OTHER girls outside of the group who start rumors, NOT the ones inside, because we're all good friends. Although there has been a bit of backstabbing going on but those people end up being excluded for the trouble they've caused anyway, and I know it sounds mean to exclude someone, but you're not going to stay around someone who's spread rumors and generally done bad things to you and your friends, are you?
Just because people have the backbone to avoid those that are mean to them instead of just playing around doesn't mean they're horrible people.
Also, on the kiddies issue - it is illegal to have sex under your state/province/country's legal age, technically, and personally I wouldn't hang around anyone who has done that myself. Lil Muntewr raised a good point with the 13 year olds, and making such a choice is a bit immature in my opinion, because you're going to grow and mature and soon regret that decision. I know a few who wish they would have waited a few years myself, but thats not something I can deal with, it's their choice. Because I'm Christain, I'm inclined to say I don't support the notion of sex before marraige in any case, but you can't blame other people for their decisions, really. If they choose to have children above the legal age, that's their choice. I'm not going to exclude them because of that. If they were rather young, however, I wouldn't be suprised if their boyfriends had freaked and done a runner. I think this argument should be dropped actually, this isn't somewhere to really discuss such things XD I remember in the other thread there was a part about people talking about sex but they're teenagers, you know, of course they'd be interested in that
But I'm ranting on again so that's that.
Last tidbit, if anyone judges by what one wears... I don't know what they're thinking. Sure, you may have a certain distaste of a certain style, although there are those people who act how they dress... I don't really have a definitive answer for this one XD I doubt anyone ever will, either.
