I knew Cartoon Network allways gave the same "retarded" cartoons like dexters laboratory or power puff girls (ususaly the hanna barbera kind).
A very few times in 5 years I catched cartoons movie that were given saturday and the ones I remember sawing them was Scoby doo the movie and Tom & Jerry.
The true cool thing camed when they introduced Toonami and give Batman of the Future / Beyond, X-Men Evolution (witch I loved them and managed to get the collection, planning to buy all the DVD's once they came out as a pack), Chris Colorado or He-Man.
Now I see again that they introduced crappy cartoons anime/dexter laboratory style.
Saying this because I doubt Cartoon network would give such a good movie like Balto.

But I also "think" that the Cartoon Network in US is different than the one in Europe (I am talking about the one in Europe)

Sounds like ours. When I was little, well... TV was how I knew Balto! XD Have no idea where I found two though, and I had no idea about three until I stumbled across a site that said: It's coming out in a few months. And it was THIS mONTH! 0.o So I was ANITICIPATING it, when it came out in February! 0.o Oi...

Well, there was that one time they played both Balto and Balto 3 WoC the day WoC came out, but I don't know if that counts.

I DO however, remember when they used to air Balto quite alot on Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theater on saturday nights - before Adult Swim came around that is.

It's funny that this subject should be brought up, because now I remember what channel I had seen them on! I saw Balto 1 and 3 about a month ago on CN, and I was just flipping through the channels!

The first time I ever saw Balto, the first film, was on Cartoon Network. I remember my mom taping it for me. It was inspiring. I think I was like 11 or 12.

I used to watch WQ on Cartoon Network all the time back on 02 and 03. I never saw the first movie or WoC on there though.

I first found out about this movie when I was a kid because it was on Cartoon Network :) I remember not being into animated movies when I saw it, so I was surprised both when I gave it a chance and when I ended up loving it. Though it's been a long time since they have played any of the three movies, if I recall correctly.

Man, you just opened my chest of the Golden Memories.

Absolutely yes, in late 2004 I saw the first Balto movie on VHS and weeks later I watched the second one in CN. man, i loved it from the first moment. In March 2005 I noticed that WQ will be aired again in CN, and i recorded it on VHS, its the only Balto movie of my own, im a little bit ashamed to say that.

It says 'Movie: Balto 2 Wolf Quest'
This old VHS tape have a huge emotional value, at least for me. I was 8.

In 2007 i watched WoC for the first time in that same old Cartoon network, i don't lose my hopes to watch the Balto movies again in CN. I'm talking about the Latin American version, here in Mexico a national network stills airing the movies 1 or 2 times a year, the last time was absolutely amazing!

*Sighs* I recall-....I recall a time when Cartoon network showed Balto all time in 2004 to promote Balto III: Wings Of Change....*sighs* Those day are gone... Now all I, or we, can do is reminisce...

Wow. that's trippy. it was also Channel 48 here in Virginia back in those days too

And CN is how I initially saw the sequels were coming out. The first one I saw in 1997 originally. I caught both sequel premieres on there in 2002 and 2005 respectively though. I remember this well because I was a big fan even way back then and also the obvious fact that WQ is my favorite of the three. WQ and WOC were also aired a few more times in 2005 and 2006 as far as I remember.

Yes, on some anime sites on Zoids: Chaotic Century at the end you'll hear the promo for Balto 2.

Not surprised, it was almost 10 years ago.
