I think some of you know your friends who are mods are not good as mods(Not all the mods are bad,but some of them),but you just don't want to admit it because then they will ban you(Usually mods never ban their friends.only their enemies), or because you want to become a mod later. Many on the site hate me because I admit that I don't like some mods-it's so immature. We never lock topics without a good reason, gold kitty. If you payed attention and read through the topic we locked, and then took a small peek at the rules, and perhaps mixed some common sense into the dough, you'd see that they are always locked for a good reason. If the topic is revolving around a problem, and it's resolved, it will get locked. to be honest, you are the immature one here. You proclaim statement after statement without checking the facts, overreacting like the apocalypse would arrive tomorrow. Quote: You are so immature, because If you were mature you wouldn't lock every topic which coplains about you and try to listen to the ones who complain about you.No, instead you act like:"I'm a mod and I'm mature and perfect.I do only great" This is absolutely not correct; we do not act like that. Immaturity is everywhere, even in adults. However, the term "immature" is subjective: an opinion of others' behaviour. You cannot stereotype all moderators for something that happened to you once. Quote: I have enough of you mods' stuckers-Even if the mods are your friends that doesn't mean they are perfect. What's your problem to admit their negative qualities? Oh we admit our negative qualities as well. I, personally, am an Autist; Asperger's Syndrome-light. I tend to get a bit aggressive when someone makes unfair statements about me, or people I know. I work very hard to please everyone, but everything I do for one group of members is wrong for another? We are not gods and goddesses, gold kitty. We can't please everyone, and it is very unfair for you to demand that we do. What about you? Can you admit your negative qualities? If not, you are in no position to make such an attack. Quote: I think some of you know your friends who are mods are not good as mods(Not all the mods are bad,but some of them),but you just don't want to admit it because then they will ban you(Usually mods never ban their friends.only their enemies), or because you want to become a mod later.
To an extent, this may be a little true. But not much of what you say is. On one hand, yes; friendships can affect our judgement just a little (just as you wouldn't report a friend of yours if s/he broke a rule), but everything that happens is logged on the server, and we moderators are able to read it. And I read the previous messages of the shoutboxes and the moderator logs closely once every day, more if I feel like it, and will quickly notice if a moderator isn't doing his/her job. Whenever a mod does something wrong, s/he is basically slaughtered in the moderator's box because of it. We are continuous learners; we can't teach anything as you are all forcing us to stay on the defensive, having to change our own opinions and judgement as you want it. Some members try to manipulate moderators (and frankly, I think you are trying as well, gold kitty), and in rare cases they will succeed. Everything you do on Baltosource and TLKS is logged, so you won't have to admit anything you've done; you will still be punished. If you don't admit it, however, the punishment can, and will be more severe. I know you got a problem with mods, gold kitty, and I am quite sure it's because of our socalled "powers". We're just regular members, regular people, who spends their time working part-time for steet; volunteer work. Just because there isn't as much interest for TLK as for Balto here, doesn't mean you are right and we are wrong. Nor does it mean that you can't do anything about it. This is a community; what you do, is what counts. If you can't contribute to TLKS, even as you are complaining about it in general, then leave. It's as simple as that. There are plenty of other sites out there that you don't need to work for, or in. TLKS just needs contribution from its members. We can't do anything.

If I wrote to you :"Shut the fudge off",I would get banned, wouldn't I? See? you use your powers over the regular members-Here's one fact I give you as an example. If you want another examples, then send me a private message. I don't care if you are autistic-That doesn't mean that being mean to some members is okay.If you have a problem with human contact, then don't be a mod anymore-Just my advice UK locked Hrryman's topic only because it complains about the mods.If you think you are mature enough for knowing you do wrong things(I'm talking to all the mods),then reopen his topic and that would prove it. Here's my list of my negative qualities: -I have nervous attacks. -I complain all the time. -I'm a very impatient person. You are so not like god because god doesn't justify wrong activities and he doesn't make up his own rules.Mods(I'm not talkin to all of you), I don't want you to be like god because nobody is perfect, but I want you to stop making up your own rules, break them constantly and stop justify a mod's bad activity only because he is a mod. Mods make mistakes. Yes. They do. Because?
They are friggin' human. Deal with it.
Simply because they are ''higher up'' then us normal players, doesn't mean they have a right to break the rules. AND THEY DON'T! At least, the ones I've seen.
All mods are excellent people. Serious! And it makes a lot of us mad when you go and you yell at them saying how Steet should just fire them. Good God People! My gerbil has more common sense. now before I get all jumped on. That doesn't mean your stupid. That means, you have a friggin brain. Start using it. But you need to realize, mods? not the enemy. Go worry about the penguins, not about mods on a Balto site. They are adults, they can take care of themselves. And with people jumping on them all the time, its hard for them themselves to do there job.
MAKE IT EASY! QUIT BLAMING THE MODERATORS!!!

I thought this was taken care of! *sighs* Guess not. Okay, it's time for me to state my opinion on this ridiculous issue. So... here it goes...
Mods are not mean nor cruel. If we were Steet would demod us without a second thought. When it comes to mods, he picks those whom he can trust. Immaturity is a part of life but as we grow, the immaturity, leaves our bodies along with a little help from our families. We only lock topics in the forums when they don't apply to the rules or are a waste of space, as most are. True, most of us fly off the handle at our jobs but we're human, not Gods or machines that answer to the members every beck and call. I mean, come on, we have lives just as much as the members and as Steet. Overreacting is another reason why topics get locked. The whole basis of a topic can go off what it's really about at times and people complaining about a certain really says something about them. That they do not know how to let it go. Like this for example. This isn't a topic about blame on the mods, this is, in my eyes, a flame against us and what we do to keep this site running.
Everyone flies off the handle at some point. I'm Autstic and I do have a tendency to get angry when certain statements or flames against my friends bother me. Not my fault but I am controlling it though it is hard at times. Everyone has a negetivity. Even the one who continues to rant about unfair the mods are. Well, if you don't like, why are you even here, putting more pressures on us? We enough problems as it is and this is not helping us to heal or get rid of the problems. It's only adding, growing and building.
We do our jobs the best we can. We are not saints and we do not favor other members, should those members be our friends. We all learn something new every day of our lives, and the first thing that should be done, is to learn how to roll an issue that irritates us off our backs and onto the ground to never rise again. Some people can do that, others can't and those who can't will not and that's really said.
There is another thing we are taught in life and that is to think what you say before you say it otherwise, what is said without thought can be taken the wrong way.
Mods do not abuse their power, or we try not to at least and to make an accusation like that is really cruel.
As a mod, I feel that this topic has gotten way out of control and should be locked. This isn't a complaint but a pointless flame against the mods who help Steet day in and day out to keep this site up and running. We are all human, we all make mistakes, we all have something to live for in life and why must we be subjected to these bashings?
Bottom line is, Mods are people too.

WesternWonders How is it attached to penguins? start to use your brain. I'm not worried about the mods. The opposite-I'm worried about the members to whom the mods act meanly. One of my friends has left because of them. It's my right to complain about hte mods as long as I don't curse them. Gold, WesternWonders is right. Maybe, you should use your brain instead. True, you're not worried about the mods but since when do we act cruelly to other members? Let me give you answer to that... Never! You're not just complaining about the mods, you are cursing them in any way possible. It's ridiculous now knock it off!

Whatever. Believe what you want. He did not curse. Lay off the mods okay. We have done nothing wrong to you.
