It pains me to know there's people here, adults, who can't tell a "good" movie from an "entertaining" movie from a "bad" movie.

That's a purely subjective opinion. And I could say the same about many young adults and minors here. Conversely, it pains me that there are so many young adults and minors here who are so quick to cast aspersions and generally castigate movies without looking at the positives and negatives. :?

You ment by that: people judge the movies having absolutely no ideas about it, or they just throw oppinions without to explain them.. ..
?

Ok, I want to tell everyone something about the spirit thing of the movie.

Spirits aren't false thing, they do exist.

I think that they just wanted to introduce Balto in a more subtle world, were they would realize both who is Aleu and would uncover another part of Balto's past.

The reality... the spirit things are real, there is a new world in front of our eyes, Nava was apparently a guru and could become subtle (That's about the gunas) his personality was based on that of a Sattvik and he was apparently very spiritually trained, Aleu, which was slighty ignorant and didn't know where she belonged since she couldn't find her place in Nome (Tama) was the one who needed to leave the darkness of ignorance and self unknown to find her place in the world (become Sattva) while Balto met and was assured that Aniu (spirit [Tama/or Sattva]) was her mother.

These 3 gunas Raja (Attention/Activity/Balance) Sattva (Devotion/Obedience/Purity) and Tama (Ignorance/Inactivity/Impurity)
are part of a philosophy in which I think the movie is somehow related, Aleu, again, was a Tamasik subject because she didn't know where she would suit the best and she was sure that Nome was not her place to be, she knew she belonged to another place, but she had to find it, she did find it, the wild wolf pack. Balto, by its part, was very caring just as Jenna, Boris and Muk and Luk, that made all Rajasiks (They do care and have feelings towards someone) and Nava, apparently heavily spiritually trained (almost a guru or a saint equivalent) did had unlimited knowledge and wasn't a slave of his subconscious, that's why he was a Sattvik (Similar to rajasiks, but they would even go to the great lenghts of sacrificing themselves for someone's life even if the person is unknown) that's why he decided to search for Niju, he couldn't live knowing that he was being harmed. and Aniu which was either spirit (Sattvik) or Ghost (Tamasik) do revealed that she was Balto's mother...

I hope this doesn't go beyond the rules, but I think any Hindu user may know about the philosophy of the trigunas.

In fact, they did, for those who are older and understand the concept, a great job, I spend two year 2006/2007 spending my free time in trying to unveil a subliminal message in the movie, what was the plot meant for and now, I know, the subliminal and real message of the movie was for Aleu to get of the darkness and to finally become happy and obtain Bliss (she got out of the Tamasik ignorance to become a rajasik, just like its father and mother and the rest of its siblings) and was for Balto to discover the new world of the Subtle presence and how his personality and mind could challenge everything to save her daughter and also for him to find more about his family...

You THINK that they exist, you cannot say that it's a universal truth.

One can assume that spirits exist, or we need evidence ?

You need evidence, but I have it. Reports of ghosts found in the Colombian (were I'm now) cities of Cucuta, Bogota and another unknown city.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZRkWcC8yAug

Here, the news station Caracol Colombia explain about how the ESP can be involuntarily activated if ghost are nearby. The ESP is an spiritual defense mechanism the body activates once it perceives a ghost, this for the person to stop doing something or to go away or to flee, or that can be activated at will if one is strong and open minded. (As a security measure, do not activate it or practice scrying (looking crystal balls with diffused daylight) since both practices gather Tama (physically and scientifically known as Telekinesia E.S.P.S) and may attract ghouls in nearby areas (576 sq mi), or practice it with an instructor (Guru, Saint, Psycriatist) or practice it if you are strong minded.)

The report is in Spanish but it is official.

It wasn't supposed to be a "true" story, the first one was, I was explaining a secret message in the movie. Each autodiscovery movie has a hidden one not even productors know of.
