Disney of course, even they are more interrested in 3-D films. Disney has experience in those kind of films, even its strange to hear.

I'm not so sure about MGM - look at what they did to the Secret of NIMH. They gave it a really crappy sequel, and over here in Britain, we don't have the Special Edition. All I have is this poor, grainy DVD version where the only extras are the theatrical trailer and 'interactive menus.'

I think MGM is Sony pictures now. Quote: OMG! Balto in 3D! that would terrible! Actually this wouldn't surprise me much...Look at the "Alvin and the chipmunks" film. Yuck... And I learned recently that Universal has teamed up with a CGI production team, and intend it to be its "major" source for animation films...

As far as ANIMATION is concerned, Don Bluth all the way. Sure, the man has had a couple glaring misses in his career, but those are too few and far between. Not to mention his successes are the things of legend. Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, Land Before Time (the original, aka the good one, btw), Titan A.E., Anastasia, and (My personal favorite) All Dogs go to Heaven. There's NO WAY in the world that you can argue with such an animation resume. I'm positive that he would treat the Balto franchise with the courtesy and respect it so truly derserves. ^^ Yeah, it would be cool if Don bluth could work on the Balto franchise.

I'm glad you see it that way, its true that Nick has turned out a few shows that weren't good but they've got some talented people around there, more than one I'd gladly see handle Balto and I don't really think ANYONE could do a worse job than Universal has though. As of late my email hasn't been returned but the guy might just be busy, I'll try to get a more direct connection such as a phone number or something.
