i wouldnt say that. The AMD Phenom still has great performance, it just cant beat out the highest end Core 2 Quads. I would love to have one, only they only have the Phenom X4 out right now, and its 2.2Ghz for $2--. not bad. But for now ill stick with Intel.

Lol. I just finished my sisters computer..its ooooolllldd but all she does is play games like the original Harry potter, tonka, and music.

Make/Model: HP Pavilion 7920
CPU: Intel Celeron 900Mhz (100Mhz FSB, 128K L2)
Motherboard: ASUS Intel i810
Graphics: Sparkle Geforce 4 MX440 64MB PCI
Sound: Onboard
HDD: 30GB Quantum Fireball plus (7200RPM) ATA66
Memory: 256MB (128MB Infineon, 128MB Hynix) SDR PC100
OS: MS Windows XP Pro SP1
Monitor: Dell 17" CRT VGA

It runs pretty good. not great, but pretty good for its specs.

no. i acquired the main system from my Biology teacher and put in another 128MB RAM, the Graphics card, and found the monitor
