Aleu is probably a young adult, but as much as I like her, she does act like a teenager at some points of the movie.

I think Aleu is a teenager. There's a new way of aging dogs where the first year counts as 15 human years. So Aleu is a little older than 15.

As the way Alue acts - she is deffenetly a teenager.

Well, they said she was one year old, seven goes, but, in the movie, it is the end of the summer and the start of Fall, how much time pass between the one summer and another, two month estimate, seven times faster... as an estimate, since I'm busy at the time, she was nearly 9 or 10 years old. Yep, she qualifies as a teenage wolf-dog.

Intrestingly, it appears that for the 1st & 2nd years, 1 "human year"= 10.5-14 "dogs years" (I looked it up on Wikipedia), since dogs typically mature in 2 years. And as Wolfs Eternity... stated:

yeah, i think aleu is a teenager...her voice however, convinces me otherwise, it just sounds so young to be a teenager.....ehh i still dont know, maybe its just semantics

She's most likely a teenager because she doesn't seem like an adult and she's not a pup anymore so...yes.

Of course there's teenage years for wolves and dogs, there is for every animal. They don't just progress from pup to adult in one day. There's some time of teenagerhood for all animals.
